The apartment was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and very helpful. Good walks nearby through the vineyards were well signposted. There was garage storage for our bikes and bike rack and the apartment had everything we needed. There were wine tasting opportunities and a wine Geocaching walk available. "Set adjacent to the river, this motel style hotel is perfect for exploring the local area. A short walk to the town center or river cruise berth. Ample car parking right outside your room door. A fantastic outdoor bar and food area by the river. Breakfast is good quality and plentiful. Its our 2nd stay here which says it all. Only small downside.... some of the staff in reception can be a little curt"

I forgot a small power adapter upon check-out and the owners were fantastic helping me get it back the next morning. Even offered another charger in its place before it was located. "I didn’t realize that there would be no one at the reception desk of the hotel until 3 pm, so there is no where to leave luggage before check in time. The train station does not have luggage lockers. The apartment building has 4 floors without an elevator, you don’t know your room number until you get your key, we ended up on the 4 floor with 64 stairs! The method for getting your key was pretty slick, you don’t need to go to reception."
