"Definitely older place. We had no view at all. Front desk guy was very nice. Our room had an odor, when I told him he came in and rewashed the floor but what we were smelling was the vinegar mixture they use to clean! Strong and stinky. He did offer us another room for the next night but it would have been the same. It was better as were in the room and opened windows. Pool was good but there was a mess of broken pool noodles all over. Should have been cleaned up. Location was great!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were only able to stay here a couple of nights, but it would have been great for four nights if we could have. Yachats is a great town with great food, wonderful walks (for us with a dog), and while it is a tourist town, you don't feel like it is innundated. The actual house is very cute and small. The bed was comfortable and while the shower was tiny, the bathroom was workable. The kitchen has small appliances. We may stay here again."

"This was a nice place. Pretty clean, though one bed had some crumbs on it. It was a bunk bed, so it would have been easy to miss. Didn't smell bed. Kitchen was clean and appropriately stocked. Would like to see the back yard/fire pit area cleaned up a bit and the stairs to the beach were very mildly scary but stable."

"I don’t even know where to start. This place was unbelievably awesome. My significant other and my dog who would never seen the ocean before, all had a magnificent time! Wish I could’ve stayed longer. The privacy, how cozy it was, all the things. I wrote a little message in their guest book. They had a personalized photocopy of the A-frame. We stayed in and then a note personally to us, which is going in my scrapbook by the way. There’s so much I mean it was just phenomenal. I recommend this place highly and hopefully will return sooner than later. I’m not sure if this comment section explains the dates we were there but we stayed from July 9 to the 12th and the days were perfect. Had a little sprinkle that Saturday but nothing major and just yeah the host made you feel welcome. I had a lot of questions and she was amazing so anyways, yeah I highly recommend this place and I’ll be back or I should say we’ll be back sincerely Donnette."

"We loved the location and enjoyed relaxing at the fire pit and playing games provided by the host. The walk to Heceta Beach takes just a few minutes, and the host thought of every detail, including towels and chairs. The host was communicative, and we highly recommend visiting Old Town in Florence. And if you're a coffee lover, we highly recommend River Roaster."
