The Shed stands in the garden of the listed Old Oak, once the smuggling pub of Bonnington. The Shed has its own garden space, table and chairs and BBQ. Built in 2012 to the highest specifications and in traditional style it offers an ideal base for walking and exploration. There is one bedroom with a king size bed, and a kitchen living room which is equipped with a dishwasher, cooker and fridge, TV and WiFi and prettily and individually designed for total comfort. Built for our far flung family to stay in when in England - we would love to share it with you when they are not with us! We love this special corner of England, and built the Shed to reflect its rural surroundings, and offer a cosy welcoming retreat. Sadly the Shed is not suitable for those with mobility problems as the only access is by the outside stairs, but it has proved to be a great base for artists, writers and those with a creative spirit. Lovely place overlooking the marshes with great sunset views. Cosy and welcoming place with everything you need for a relaxing stay.Excellent comms from Tina although we didn't get to meet as they were away for Christmas, but the welcome within the property was awesome.
Thank you Tina and Jeremy. Great memories of our delightful stay in The Shed with the beautiful garden and views over Romney Marsh, The Weald and the coast nearby.
We had a wonderful relaxing stay in the most beautiful surroundings. The Shed is a great location, very peaceful and private.Tina and Jeffrey are wonderful hosts. They made us feel welcome, everything was most carefully prepared for us.
Can not fault the property, it was clean and had everything we needed. The host was great and their dog is very friendly. Great location to explore the Kent countryside. Can not recommend them enough.

It’s not often we say a stay is brilliant however on this occasion it was. Great hosts welcoming, considerate and good communication. ‘The Shed’ is definitely not a shed. It’s beautifully and artistically decorated, warm, comfortable and everything you would need. Now we’ve had two nights we plan to be back for a week. Wonderful area looking out on Romney marsh, quiet and peaceful a special time.
I absolutely loved my time here. The accommodation was cosy and quaint, and it had everything I needed. Jeremy and Tina are just a lovely couple. Highly recommended.
Such a beautiful, quaint and clean little home .. hosts Tina & Jeremy were amazing ,so friendly and helpful & Holly the dog is just adorable .. look out for the goofy grin ! Amazing views and so peaceful ,only a short drive to supermarkets ,shops etc . Loved it and will no doubt return
Wonderful quite location, warm and cosy place to stay. Tina and Jeremy are so welcoming and the dog was really friendly. We highly recomment this place.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were really lovely. We wanted a few days away to recharge and that was exactly what we done. The Shed is absolutely stunning with far reaching views frim every window, peace, quiet and very tranquil. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Beautiful, light and spacious cottage with excellent interaction with the owners, Tina and Jeremy.
Great place to stay in beautiful and uncrowded Romney Marsh area. Great for birding nearby at Dungeness RSPB. Tour of local churches is highly recommended.

Beautiful place in a lovely setting
We had a fantastic time at The Shed. It's a wonderful place to get away from things and relax. Lots to do even during storm Doris!
We had a lovely stay here. Tina and Jeremy met us upon arrival and told us everything we needed to know about the accommodation along with local area. We had a private west facing garden for sitting out looking over the fields which was very peaceful. The accommodation had everything we required and we will definitely stay again.
The Shed gave us a perfect "home" to explore the marshes. Tina and Jeremy had thought of everything necessary (and more) for a wonderful short break before winter sets in!
We had a great stay at the shed. Lovely, cosy property with wonderful views and quiet enough to hear the birds. Tina and Jeremy left some thoughtful touches with everything as we needed it. Close to great places to visit and nice country walks. Thank you very much
What a lovely little find. We’ve stayed in numerous holiday cottages over the past 5 years and this one was by far the most comforting/homely. Lovely personal touches included homemade shortbread, toiletries in the bathroom and a lovely welcome message. The owners were very nice and didn’t hesitate to help with anything we needed. I’d definitely recommend The Shed! The location was lovely too, not too far from big towns and cities but far away from the hustle and bustle.
The Shed was a wonderful place to relax in and enjoy the beautiful countryside views.
Tina was very welcoming and everything we could possibly need was provided even hot water bottles, had it been cold enough. Lots of interesting information provided on places to go and the history of The Old Oak and the croissants, eggs and other goodies were very much appreciated.
Sitting in the garden looking out onto the fields was idyllic.
A thoroughly enjoyable stay, I only wish we could have stayed for longer.
