"This is our go to hotel in Rye now and as usual we had a lovely stay. What stands out is the staff here. The guy on reception is always so friendly and welcoming and the guy at breakfast was really helpful, I wish I knew their names. Our room was decorated really nice, a very comfortable bed and lots of teas and coffee to choose from. We will be back thank you! "

"Excellent Stay and Outstanding Service We stayed for one night and were really impressed. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Canterbury, just a few minutes’ walk from everything. The building is modern, spotless, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a great night’s sleep and a lovely refreshing shower in the morning. Breakfast was busy but well organised, with plenty of excellent choices. All the staff we encountered were friendly, attentive, and professional. I want to give particular thanks to James in the restaurant at breakfast. My wife has an egg allergy, and James immediately took her name and room number, then arranged for any cooked food she wanted to be prepared separately by the chef to avoid any risk of cross‑contamination. His care and attention meant a great deal to us — it’s rare for anyone to take the allergy seriously, and it gave my wife real peace of mind. Thank you, James, for your exceptional customer service. We’ll definitely be returning soon."

From start to finish we felt well looked after, and there was honestly nothing we could fault. "The room was spotless. Clean tidy and cosy. When we booked in they gave us an opportunity to have a ground floor room which was especially helpful. Food excellent and prompt. Bar area comfy with prices on par with pub. Would recommend a stay here if coming to Canterbury. Staff extremely helpful, very big car park. "

"Clean room (apart from some marks on the carpet by the bed), staff were very nice and let me enjoy my full meal at the firepit restaurant although I was running late, amenities are great and you can enjoy the pool and gym until midnight!! 10/10."
