Was not happy with the room. There was black mold in the shower and on the shower head. Double shower head one was broke and only was at chest night. Other shower head had mold we didn’t want to use it. The light on the mirror was broke. Could barely use the mirror to see. AC barely worked but with it cool at night we left the window open. Prior to the stay tried emailing and calling to get ahold of hotel and couldn’t until we arrived in Italy. The hotel is a flat that was turned into a 4 room hotel. Location was good. But we would not be staying there again.

I booked a 2-night stay at a property through a well-known platform, but my experience quickly turned frustrating. Upon arrival, I did not receive the necessary entry instructions, leaving me stranded on the street for over 2 hours. I had to find another place to stay that night. Despite multiple attempts to contact the property, I received no substantial assistance. The host claimed they had sent the entry instructions but could not provide any proof. I then escalated the issue to the platform, sharing all my communications with the property. Unfortunately, my concerns were not addressed effectively, as they mentioned they could not obtain approval from the property management. This experience has made me rethink my choice of booking platform. I strongly encourage others to be cautious when booking properties. Guests should have better protection, and it’s crucial for platforms to ensure accountability in the booking process.

Convenient check-in

It was in a very convenient location and the check-in process was very easy. We stayed for a night and the host recommended us a great trattoria for dinner. The faucet was a little drippy at night but we were so tired we were able to sleep though it.

This should not be listed as a hotel, it’s more of an airbnb. There is no one working there it just 4 rooms on 1 floor of a building, only communication is thru whatsapp so if no int’l service your “check in” will be impossible

Fantastic location and Riccardo was very helpful with great communication. The property itself was nce. However, the shower didnt particularly work great. And the A/C did t do much against August in Rome. Budget friendly.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Said breakfast was included in the rate, but the owner said they do not include breakfast and this shouldn't even be shown on the website. So out of pocket for having to pay for breakfast. Hot-tub was broken. 3 night stay and still this did not get fixed before we left. Still not been refunded for this. Amenities listed on the website are wrong. There is no safe to leave valuables, the minibar is not stocked with some free items. Temperature control is shocking, cannot have air-con in February, instead only heating, the room was like a sauna. Recommendation is, choose somewhere else.

First time in Rome

I was delayed a day getting in due to flight delays and they were very accommodating. Check in was easy. They texted the information. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Very well located near everything, which was perfect! Wish the air conditioning was a bit stronger. Check out was easy, they texted information. You’re pretty much on your own, which was fine for me, but if you’re looking to have someone help you with suggestions then no. I thought the pizza restaurant directly across the street delicious.

A good central location but no customer service at all. There was no sign to indicate the hotel, it was all very strange. It was as if the owner was trying to hide the business. Our toilet was broken, I WhatsApped the number in reception and didn’t hear anything. Needless to say the toilet was mended without any correspondence. A very weird experience.

The room was not ready upon arrival so we had to stay one night across the street in a very noisy room. When we got the room on day 2 the bed was broken, and a loose cord were hanging in the bathroom etc. The AC only worked at say 30 percent so it was very worm and very hard to sleep. It could be a nice place but when many things are unattended it doesn’t work so well.

Overall, our stay here was alright, but some things soured the experience. Cons: The advertised air conditioning was barely functional, it took until the 3rd day for the room to be a somewhat comfortable temperature. The advertised breakfast vouchers were nowhere to be found, and the host was unresponsive when I reached out and asked. The shower head is broken (leaking from the fitting) and covered in what looks like black mold and other nasty stuff. Pros: The location was good, plenty of good restaurants near by, and the host provided a list of recommended attractions and restaurants.

Interesting hotel room in a good, quiet location with lots of restaurants around. Check-in was not easy, we had some difficulty finding the hotel, and ended up standing out in the rain waiting for some to let us in. Although the listing says the front desk is manned during the day, we never saw anyone the whole time we were there. Everything we needed required a phone call to Gianluca, who was accomodating. The bath was in need of maintenance, with the sink backed up and the toilet running the whole time. All that said, the nightly rate was low for Rome, so if you want to be in Prati and are on a budget, this is a good option.

Relais Colonna was a conveniently located and lovely, unique stay in Rome! It was within walking distance to all of the main attractions in Rome (30min to Colosseum, 20 min to Vatican, 15 min to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Pantheon). There were also lots of restaurant options right on the same street, and plenty others within 10 mins. I had read some bad reviews on the check in process and staff. They do email you an online check in form to fill out, which makes the process quicker! Also, we had texted Gianluca on WhatsApp when we planned to arrive. He was outside waiting for us, helped us bring our bags up and was very friendly and helpful! They are not a typical hotel, so if you just anticipate this and stay in touch via WhatsApp, you'll be fine! Gianluca gaves us lots of good tips, restaurant recommendations and a helpful map and directions of how to reach various locations. The room was a little small, but the bed was comfortable! We booked the room with the Spa tub option, which was nice to have after long days of walking through Rome!

Honestly very disappointed in the stay. Check in was a nightmare. There is a hotel with the same name across the street. We went there then they sent us to the right place where it took forever to get buzzed in and then we had to figure out which floor the hotel was on. The floor hallway had no power at check in. We got buzzed in and we’re told just to leave our bags at the front desk and the security camera would “watch them”. The Wi-Fi would cut out so much I couldn’t use my laptop. We stayed in the “jacuzzi room” thinking it was an extra. It was a tub instead of the shower. For what we got 295 euro a night is absolute robbery. If you’re used to any type of American hotels go elsewhere. Also at check out no one was available so we had to pay via PayPal. Very sketchy.

Tivemos uma estadia ruim,o anuncio fala q é hotel mais é um apartamento compartilhado tem 4 quartos, no caso alugamos um dos quartos, fala que tem recepção e que tem alguem la horário comercial, mentira alugamos por 4 dias e nao tinha ninguém nenhum dos dias, o anfitrião so dava assistência atraves de whatsap, o check-in foi atraves de whatsap, chegamos e tocavamos um interfone do apartamento e ninguém atendia sorte q chegou uma moradora do predio q abriu o portao para nos e ligou para o anfitrião, as chaves do quarto estavam no balcao da entrada do apartamento, ele mandou mensagem pelo whatsap avisando, abriu a porta do apartamento remotamente uando abrimos o quarto ele estava sujo sem arrumar , ligavamos e ele dizia que falava português e desligava, so conversava por whatsap, entao pediu que ficassemos na rua por duas horas q iria pedir alguem para limpar pediu desculpas disse q a funcionária esqueceu de limpar, ai ficamos na rua fazendo hora, quando voltamos e fomos tomar banho o aquecedor do chuveiro nao estava funcionando tivemos q esperar arrumar, e nossa reserva era com cafe da manha mais ele disse que nao ia conseguir da o cafe porque tinha perdido o fornecedor e nos reembolsou somente 3 euros por pessoa o q so dava um croissant, so tínhamos assistência por whatsap e ele demorava mais de um dia para responder, a unica coisa boa é a localização
