The hotel is very clean and conveniently located near main attractions. The room was quite small and felt a bit tight, but overall comfortable. A bit on the expensive side, but the service and location make up for it.

Very comfortable, clean room, excellent service.

Book the luxury room that includes breakfast. Room is very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to train station. There is no laundry facility on site, but you can find independent laundry services near by.

I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed my stay. It is in a great location close to the station but in a nice neighborhood. I walked everywhere ; the ghetto, piazza Navona, Spanish steps, Monti and Villa Borghese. Most were less than 30 minutes away. There are also tons of buses that depart from Termini station. My room was large with high ceilings and a large bathroom with a tub. The only thing I found strange was the type of bidet. You could open the windows and the bed was very comfy. I also enjoyed the little lobby lounge while I was waiting for my room. And to my surprise breakfast was included. It was very substantial and varied. Excellent doppio cappuccino! The front desk staff all spoke English and were super helpful. Ill be staying here again

An excellent stay from start to finish. We had a clean, modern room with a beautiful view. The staff were excellent and there was a great breakfast. This hotel is in a lovely location, walking distance to all the major sights. I couldn’t recommend more. Thanks for making our trip so memorable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The service was excellent, with attentive and professional staff. The hotel was very clean, and the bathroom towels were changed twice a day, which was a great plus. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The location is also ideal: close to the train station, with a few good restaurants nearby and major attractions within a 30-minute walk. Everything was perfect, and if we return to Rome, we will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Hello, was good experience, the hotel it’s in a very good area, like it a lot, can walk around a lot places in 20 or les minutes walking, the only far it’s a Vatican City but other than that can walk anywhere, breakfast was good more than I was expecting, very good service.

First visit to Rome. This hotel was adequate for our needs, but far outshined by the hotels we chose in Florence and Venice. The location was decent enough, near dining and shopping options. Very close to the train station, which was a plus. I'll give the Hotel Mascagni a solid B-

Room was just what I needed and I had a nice window which welcomed the sun and cool breeze. The hotel in a great walking location from all of Rome’s main attractions but not in the heart where it becomes noisy. The breakfast buffet has many good options. Only downside would be the walls are thin so if you’re next to a loud person you can hear them talking. I had to deal with that but other than that, I would definitely stay. The staff are lovely

We stayed first 3 nights at the luxury side of the Mascagni hotel and enjoyed it. Last night we booked at the other side (non-luxury side) and hated it. We booked a family room and they put us in a Triple room on the first floor (aka as 2nd floor in the US). Up all night due to traffic outside the window, shower tub is small, room is small with very limited counter space. I recommend the luxury side and stay away from the non-upgraded side of the Mascagni Hotel. Breakfast on both sides are good. Location is great. Staff is helpful.

It was good in general, but the rooms are small and the bed is not comfortable and there is a divider between two small beds. The location was perfect. In addition, your reservation indicated that the check-out time is at 12:00, while the hotel check-out time is at 11:00. This caused me some trouble leaving for the airport. The hotel claims that there is an error in the hotel.com website.

This hotel and staff are amazing. I had read a frw troubling reviews online about this hotel but im glad to say we did not experience anything negative at all. The hotel was in a great location, near to shops and historic places. The room was clean and tidy. The windows opened fully so it was great to people watch from the room. The staff especially kitchen and reception staff were great. Paola was super nice. The gentleman on reception who name i can not remember gave us some great recommendations for pizza places, 50 Kalo was the restaurant we went too and the food was amazing and only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. Yes its a smaller hotel and the lift is abit small and there is only 1 lift but the hotel is lovely. Its safe, spacious and easily accessible. I would definitely stay here again should i be luck eno to go a 3rd time to Rome.

Nice stay

The hotel is lovely and historic. As is typical in Italy, the elevator is very small by American standards, and it is easier to use the stairs. Luggage service is readily available in the lobby, as well as pick-up service prior to checkout. Rooms with balconies have great views. A fifth floor room that goes up and down extra stairs was very small and only viewed a neighboring parking area. The room above us/around the corner (but on the same floor) had a view of my room. The employees are very helpful and friendly, but it felt strange to return the keys to the front desk when leaving the building.
