The staff were very friendly and helpful, looking after our bags on check-out day, etc. The state of the rooms & bathroom is a little rougher than you might expect from the pictures but serviceable. The only real problem is how much the place echos, and with all rooms running of the same corridor, any small noise reverberates. Not good for light sleepers.

What a surprise when I got to the property. It did not look like a hotel but a normal building. When I was buzzed in, I had to find my way into the property as the hotel was on the 3rd floor. Then I was told that the toilet was broken and taken to another hotel which at least looked like a hotel.

The owners are incredibly unresponsive to their customers questions and concerns. Expedia also had a very hard time reaching them. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. There are far friendlier places to stay in Rome, where the hosts actually care about their clients.

Hard to find monster doors closed no lobby located on 2nd floor century old elevator no front desk no fridge no drinking glasses towels beddings no changed soap shampoo too small and no replenishment tub slippery no curtains water goes to floor owner rude and unhelpful It’s never a suite at all It’s in a dilapidated building.It’s just a horrible place to stay.Don’t billet people here at all Mr Orbitz.Shockingly true and to prove all these stay at the suites allegedly.The truth will set me free.

AVOID IT
We did not receive the room we booked. Our room was FILTHY - hair everywhere, dirt everywhere. The air-conditioning did not work. We were also charged the wrong amount from the hotel and have filed a complaint with Hotels.com as she hasn't responded to any requests for refund after we provided proof that she charged the wrong amount. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Anna the manager of the property went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was very spacious and clean and a lovely fresh breakfast was available every morning. It’s old the elevator is very old and can only carry one person plus suitcase . The breakfast was awful, no one to call if you need assistance. It’s not a hotel it’s a b&b

This was not a hotel but rather a room with bathroom. No shower curtain and no one at wrong desk just to let us in. Basically a bed, shower and a key for room.

Nice, place that had the feel of staying with a friend/family rather than in a hotel. Easily accessible and within working distance of downtown Rome. Would have been good if there was a sign out front though.

Very nice hotel
Hotel was really really nice and clean. The bed absolutely 100% very comfortable. Anna was amazing in making sure we have all that we need. Free pick up from the airport was really nice and breakfast was good. Good wifi and AC for those hot days was really good. Would defend return when back in Rome

Amazing stay and Genuine Service
The location is great in a very safe area. The service was amazing and Anna was very helpfull explaining about Rome and helping with anything you may ask. After we booked we got an email about free transfer fromthe airport and that shows how genuine Anna was. We got a free transfer from the airport and she said that this is a new service from magister. Highly recommended!

Lovely owner, great location.
Magister is a very quaint hotel within walking distance of lots of amenities and the local sights. The owner Anna was welcoming and informative and couldn’t do enough for us! The room was basic but suited us for our stay. The only slight negative was our room was very noisy, so if you are a light sleeper, perhaps ask for one of the rooms that does not face the street. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would revisit in a heartbeat!

The rooms are spacious and beautiful, the jacuzzi bathtub was a DREAM of mine, and the staff was so kind. The location is also very central near plenty of busses and AMAZING restaurants.

Great, affordable stay in Rome
Great service. Clean, simple rooms. A bit on the noisy side but very comfortable nonetheless. Very accessible to public transport; walking distance from the train station. About 40 minutes walk to main tourist attractions. Overall, very nice!

Lovely stay
We stayed for 3 nights and had a very good experience. The hotel is situated in a very convenient location with subway stations at walking distance and bus stops in front of the hotel. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and served delicious homemade cakes for breakfast every morning. Our room (with bubble bath) was very clean and everything looked new. We would definitely recommend staying here!

La struttura è ubicata in ottima posizione a 10 minuti a piedi da Stazione Termini. L’appartamento si trova al secondo piano di di uno storico palazzo. Sono stato accolto dalla gentilissima titolare per il check-in. La stanza, lato via Piave, è risultata essere molto rumorosa e non sono riuscito a chiudere occhio tutta la notte. La titolare mi aveva anche offerto dei tappi per le orecchie ma non pensavo fossero così necessari! Nella stanza c’era un forte odore nauseabondo.

Fijn verblijf
Heel fijn verblijf, erg schoon en Anna is een heel goede host. Prachtig oud gebouw en een heerlijk ontbijtje. Werden gratis opgehaald vanaf het airport, wat we erg waardeerden.

처음에 제가 생각했던 호텔 카운터가 아니라서 헤맸지만 한번 찾은 후부터는 수월했습니다 (건물 내부 2층에 있음.건물밖에는 아주 작게 호텔간판이 있어 아 이건물안에 있구나 라고 추측할수있을정도?) 그 후에 카운터와의 연락은 모두 폰으로했기때문에 로밍을 하시거나 유럽에서 통화가 되는 유심을 구매해가시는 것을 추천합니다. 관광을 콜로세움 근처에서한다고 하자 거기에 가까운 호텔로 변경해주었고 그 호텔의 시설은 만족스러웠습니다. 그리고 공항으로 가는 서비스를 제공해주어 아주 편하게 공항까지 갈수있었습니다. 짐이 많아서 힘들었는데 매우 좋은 서비스였습니다! 시티택스는 현금으로만 지불가능합니다. 주변 친구가 로마에 간다면 추천해줄 의향이 있습니다. Fantastic choice.
Very good!I recommend it for sure.The service is fantastic and always willing for any informations.The room is spacious and very clean as it seems to the photos.The breakfast is satisfying. The area around is safe and under the rooms there is a cafe,a supermarket and opposite the road a very tasty restaurant. The termini is 15minute away by foot.The only bad is the noise from the road,nothing else. A very,very good choice!

Já estive em Roma outras 4 vezes antes e já fiquei desde hotéis super chiques mas não tem bem localizados a hotéis Hiper simples com boa localização. Para essa nova estadia buscava um lugar com bom custo benefício e que fosse um intermédio entre localização e preço. Encontrei o Magister e esperava algo “ok”, mas ele foi simplesmente “UAU!” Além de uma localização que facilita fazer muitos passeios a pé pela cidade, tem diversas paragens de ônibus próximas. A acomodação não se propõe a ser um hotel mas é bem mais que um simples B&B, seja pelo conforto que oferece no quarto (fiquei no King) com uma deliciosa hidromassagem perfeita para após um dia de caminhada pela Eterna, seja pela estrutura impecavelmente limpa e bem conservada ou seja pelo café da manhã com muito mais opções que um B&B comum. É possível perceber o carinho com que o espaço é tratado. Mas o grande destaque vai mesmo para a educação, simpatia e disponibilidade do casal Ana e Danilo, proprietários do estabelecimento. Eles são dedicados, atenciosos e nos fazem com que nos sintamos sendo recebidos por familiares! Amei e recomendo!

Bien situé a 14min de la gare de termini. Tres propre et lit très confortable. Petit dej copieux avec bonnes viennoiseries. Les gerants tres sympas et bon rapport qualité prix. A prendre sans hesiter.
