This is not a typical hotel. It has a part-time clerk who is wonderfully helpful. There are a limited number of comfortable, modern, and well kept rooms. Its main feature is its proximity to the Vatican and local sites.

This property was very clean and conveniently located to the Vatican. Francesco was extremely congenial and helpful. Our room was quite small so I wish I had reserved a larger room to accommodate us and our luggage. Definitely would stay there again.

We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Vatican City, and it was perfect. From the moment we arrived, our concierge Francesco was engaging, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable with our options for the week. The room was very clean, and housekeeping kept it so. GREAT PLACE TO EXPERIENCE ROME!

Francesco was very welcoming and provided plenty of great tips for restaurants as well as getting around Rome. It was an easy walk to St Peter's Square. Initially we thought the train tracks behind the apt would be an issue, but the noise was minimal.

Easy walk to the Vatican, bus stop near by that will get you to the other sites in 25 minutes for 1.59$ per person per ride.Hotel staff gave us a map and explained when everything was.

We loved staying here! The location was great and the facility is very nice and clean. The best part of our experience though was Francesco at the front desk! He was so warm, welcome, and helpful! Note the special instructions on checking in. You need to make an arrangement for them to meet you at the front. It’s not staffed 24 hours a day.

This Guest house is perfect … Francesco the owner is spectacular ! He looked after us with great information and kindness ! He met us at the door and saw us off at the door … you could not do any better anywhere else ! He gave us a map of everything we needed and the suite had everything we could need … first class amenities , clean comfortable we really could not have been happier ! A Small Wonder

My wife and I loved our room in the Leonardo Da Vinci Guest House and Francesco was a helpful host. It is a small wonder, with modern, clean rooms and a common room with an outdoor balcony overlooking the building's lush courtyard where we enjoyed a drink on a couple of nights. Right around the corner is Goose Restaurante, one of the best restaurants we had the pleasure of visiting in Rome, just as good if not better than those in the Trastevere neighborhood. Walking to most sites was quite pleasant, including the nearby Vatican, Castel San Angelo, Center City and Trastevere so there was no need for taxis or transportation other than our feet most days. We would rate it a solid 10.
