Let me start by saying that the staff over there is AMAZING, very kind and respectful people, all of them without exception. The place is not easy to find, though. It’s inside a complex with several apartment buildings, and the hotel is the last one. Plus the area is not very nice. Aside from that, facilities are nice, they keep them very clean, and everybody is very friendly.

I am not sure why so many bad reviews. Yes it is run by nuns, but they treated us like gold. Yes the breakfast was a lot of sweet breads. But there were also cereal and yogurt options. Room was big enough. I brought my own pillow. If I am ever back in Rome I will be staying there.

Clean, spacious room. Good breakfast with more options than you usually get in a property of this price level. The staff was polite and willing to help with any question that I had. I arrived ahead the check-in hours and I was supposed to wait for 2 hours for my room. With that said, they let me in after 20-30 min. I totally recommend this place unless Christian symbols make you feel uncomfortable

We had a very difficult time getting into the property, because it is in gated community and no instructions were given to us how to get through the gates. We tried to contact the property via text but nobody answered. Once we get their nuns who run this property did not speak English and had to wait sometime until someone who could speak English shows up. The Key for the room we got did not work and after struggling for some time to close the door they gave us another key that worked. The communication with the front desk people is very difficult if you don't speak Italian. The breakfast was pretty good but had a quite a bit sweet stuff. On the day that we leave, there was a nice gentleman at the front desk and arranged a taxi for us to go to the airport. We found this to be very convenient, otherwise we would have had to deal with Taxi drivers who most likely don't speak English.

Very Basic, Reasonably-Priced Hotel

We were pleased with our stay. As we expected, our room was very basic, but it met our needs: clean, quiet, comfortable enough, and spacious enough. Check-in/out was efficient; wifi worked well; the Italian breakfast (mostly sweet breads) was sufficient. Best of all: subway access and a reasonable price.

This is run by religous sisters and I love that! Sisters are nice. Simple and reasonable accommodations. bus stop just outside the property and a metro a block away(the property is on a hill so it’s uphill back from the metro) but I really enjoyed my time the bus takes 15 mins to get to St Peter’s and the metro connects you with everything.

i was amazed to find out its some kind of monestery, managed by nuns. there was no place in hotel details who let me know its a monestery. after the first shock, the nun, showed me the room and it was with two single beds even though i booked one king bed. i was amazed again when the nun asked me if we are married, in order to change the bed to a double bed, i booked 32 m room but got like 15-17 m room. the bed was terrible, the furniture was old, the atmosphere was harsh. the reception manager, aged man , was very unfriendly and vain.
