The room was mostly clean, minus a large insect on my window and some food mess on the bathroom floor. The water took a long time to become hot, and the heat in the room was a bit archaic. The bath also didn’t drain properly at first. There also wasn’t much sound insulation between the rooms. But I did enjoy the location of where the hotel was, the morning coffee, and the staff was very kind. Overall I’d say it was a decent place to sleep at night, and I’d advise you to let the water get hot before you get in the shower.
Great service and nice accommodations. A little dated, but very clean and close to many restaurants, shops and train station. The only concern was the broken in-room safe that I asked to be repaired twice and unfortunately it was not. They did offer the use of the main safe at the concierge desk as an alternate.
The breakfast was OK and the terrace was pretty good. Now for the bad, we stayed 5 nights and we occupied 2 rooms, there was missing always a towel; we stayed at the 6th floor and the water had no pressure and at night cold. The windows didn't isolate the noise and we could hear continuous humming (maybe the building ac) and cars hooking, they really need to replace those windows. The rooms were not really well clean.
The hotel is very dated. Staff are not overly friendly and there really isnt anything that would bring us back there. For a little extra we could have stayed across the street. More research is needed for our next stay in Rome.
My stay at Hotel Torinon was great. The hotel is located only about 3 blocks from Termini (train station) and walkable distance to some of the major attractions. The staff was nice and the check in/check out process was a breeze. The stay included breakfast with more than I was expecting (hard boiled eggs, cheeses, turkey, fresh fruit, bread, cereal, etc) as well as a full coffee machine for latte, chocolate, etc in a rooftop. The AC worked great as did the wifi.
Great location, walkable to many major sites and a quick walk to metro/bus.
Excellent breakfast with friendly staff on rooftop.
We had a large room which was pleasant surprise for a European city. Only downside was wi-fi was non existent in our room and lobby the entire stay. It was difficult when I was trying to check in to the flight and had to seek out elsewhere, than that I wouldn’t have cared.

Tiny shoebox room with leaking tap, no space to fit a suitcase. This hotel is listed as a 4 star, should be a 1 star.

The hotel area was great as was breakfast and the rooftop. You could hear anytime somebody went into their room though. Also our safe in our room was broken and there was no air conditioning either as it was broken too.

It can improve
The hotel is near Termini Station it is a bit dated but clean. The breakfast was essential, served on the roof terrace which was disturbed by pigeons ready to pick on guests plates. Probably having a waiter staying on the terrace it would helped to keep them away.
My room was kind of hot at night even with the AC on.
Hot water no hot enough it was more like room temperature.
TV not working very well
Overall my experience was great!
My rate is 4.5 from 5!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful. Our beds were horrible thin mattress pads and very uncomfortable. Our "queen" size bed was 2 twin beds put together. Thankful we were there only a few nights during our 2 week Italy trip!
