We had the best time in Rome. Eccelso hotel is in a great area, close to many attractions, yet away from the business of the tourist attraction. This hotel was extremely clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend.

What a great little find!! The property was perfect! The staff was friendly, informative, and accommodating. The rooms and hotel were clean, quiet, and everything we needed. They care about their patrons. We had just left a major hotel chain and spent our last two nights in Rome. WHAT. A. DIFFERENCE! We will be back!!! Thank you for everything!

Very friendly and personable staff met us at check-in. The hostess provided my parents a map with additional points of interest, both local and throughout the city. This is a new hotel close to Vatican and metro lines. The rooms are clean and cozy with air conditioning.

Really happy I found this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful especially with this being my first solo trip. The room size was perfect, with a modern look and was very clean. The hotel is incredibly close to The Vatican but is also in a very quiet location considering how busy the area is. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Nice, clean, newly remodeled hotel. However, there are signs everywhere, including in the room, that say "Silence Please", which make it a bit hard to relax and feel comfortable and felt like I needed to whisper in my room. In addition, hotel staff was not there like a normal hotel, but were available via Whats App. Not a bad stay, but definitely not luxury or 5-star as the description stated. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

I HOPE YOUR STAY IS AS PLEASURABLE AS OURS
Location was perfect for our needs. Sites to visit, food, transportation and Covid testing. There is a lot of thought that was put into designing the space and everything works. The bed was very comfortable and shower adequately sized in comparison to similar bookings in this region. Hotelier was very efficient with communication to address any needs or concerns we had. Kudos!

This was a nice stay. I'll be back in a few days. They offer a trasfer to and from the airport or give you recommendations on how to get to there. It's a nice location. Walking distance from the Vatican and they were friendly and helpful.

Great location, and very quiet in the evening. Liked the modern, minimal design. By far the best attribute of this hotel is the front desk staff, Cyrille in particular. My driver was late to pick me up from the airport, and I was able to connect with Cyrille and receive his help via What'sApp immediately. While the front desk team leaves for the evening at 7:30, they respond immediately in the evening to What'sApp messages to help. This is a small hotel, basically one corridor of rooms, and my room was smaller than what is pictured on this site. The limited number of rooms made for very personalized service.

The hotel was lovely. Really pleased and pictures represented the hotel well. Extremely close to the Vatican City, shops in close proximity. Also the metro is round the corner so very easy to travel to see other tourist destinations. I had no complaints at all. however it’s noted that some other guests when arriving late to the hotel weren’t always aware check-in shuts at 6pm so couldn’t get in. However if the door bell was called Ihappily let people in as their welcome pack was on reception desk waiting for them and explained reception were back in the morning. Would stay here again and would 100% recommend!! If you like being just let to it by the hotel staff this is perfect. Thank you again!

Very nicely done renovation, many restaurants and buses in neighborhood for getting around. The biggest problem IMO is that there are no staff on property after about 6 or 7 PM. if there were an emergency or someone needed an ambulance, for example, there’s no one — not even a night porter — to help guests. And no information provided about how to summon a first responder using an American cell phone. That alone would make me not stay there again. Also no restaurant and no mini bar for water or snacks in the room. They should have a vending machine at a minimum.

When in rome
This lil hotel was great,only 12 rooms so you get that personnal feel, only negative for me personally was the memory foam bed,my back dd not like ut,other than that it was great,good breakfast also.the location was real good since it was close to everything.

Boutique hotel walking distance to the Vatican and the Metro as well as lots of restaurants around. Bargain souvenir shopping abound. It only has 12 rooms on an iconic building but modern in the inside. Counter open from 9 to 5 so you have to make arrangements if you are checking in outside these times. Enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
