Domos Popolo is a hidden gem. It is small but in a great location for dining and shopping. It is far enough away from the big attractions to have restaurants with slightly lower prices. There is a tiny lift in which to take your luggage and our host Anna was delightful each morning when organising our breakfast. Breakfast was cereals, toast and toppings, yoghurt, fruits and sweet treats. Tea, coffee and juices. We would stay here again.
Great location, great amenities (the breakfast was ample, very diverse and delicious) and the room was clean and spacious for a couple with a child. Lots of cafés, restaurants and shopping around. This was a great find for our stay in Rome this summer. We would definitely recommend
Personally and really nice. Feels exclusive with just s few, but spacious and neat rooms with traditional windows while also close to the beautiful Piazza del Popolo. Great breakfast and the host Anna made our stay 5 of 5!
We loved our stay at Domus Popolo! There are so many great things we can say about this guesthouse: value for money was excellent as each day started with such a generous breakfast that we didn’t need to eat much again until the evening; it was quiet but centrally located so we were within walking distance of sights, restaurants and shops, yet it was also close enough to trains and buses that we could easily use public transport when going father afield; the rooms had character and all necessary amenities and the staff were always helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for B&B style accomodation in Rome.
A small “hotel” within a larger building, had to look closely to find at the street level - no traditional fully staffed front desk after hours. Staff were helpful at check in. Had to leave early , so did not have breakfast. Within walking distance (1+ Mile) of Coliseum, etc. complimentary water, tea, & coffee in room.
We booked this B&B after being in a 4-star hotel worth zero. We were very impressed by the cleanliness, the friendly welcome of Anna and her attention to our needs.
The place is well located in a quiet street, at a walking distance from Piazza del Popolo and the metro station. 15 minutes away from the Termini train station by metro.
A drinking water fountain is only a few steps from the door, extremely useful in the summer heat, to fill up on your way in and out.
A 5-star accommodation.
We were surprised to find that we had to climb three flights of stairs to get to our rooms. There is an elevator, but the check in girl told us it was for luggage only. Two of the four of us have leg issues, so this was a real struggle for us. After a couple days, we saw a lady using that tiny luggage elevator, so we started using it, too! Would’ve been nice to know from the beginning. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, but bathroom setups were challenging in both rooms. One shower was so tiny if you turned around, your rear end turned off the water, and you couldn’t raise your arms to wash your hair with the door closed. The other bathroom has a garden tub and a handheld shower nozzle. Also tough to wash hair. But, for a cute little authentic Italian place within walking distance to so much, we did enjoy our stay, and would recommend. It would’ve just been nice to know some of these things in advance. The staff was superb!
Domus Popolo is situated close to nice Piazza del Popolo and close to metro station Flaminio. It is also walking distance 15-30 min to many attractions. The reception personel Cristina and Prezzie were extremely helpful and serviceminded. They had many good tips on good restaurants, places to go and how to find our way around. The only downside is there is no place to eat the breakfast (the breakfast was light but good yoghurt, fruit, müsli, croissants, toast, cappucino) other than in our room.
O atendimento do Sr Valério é excepcional!!
Great location. Extremely attentive and helpful staff. Loved it!

We will stay here again. The comfort level was superior and the support Patricia gave us was first class. Very close to many shops and landmarks. Also great returners all within walking distance to all. To top it off Patricia supported us in getting our shuttle setup for our return trip home and was accommodating with our bags until our shuttle arrived. Also wanted to thank her for the great information about where to go with map and all! Thank you again and we will see you allsnnj mi
Wonderful find. Dora, as you may read in other reviews, was beyond incredible. So helpful, sweet and generous of her time. The room was spotless and the location convenient. Book it - you won’t be disappointed.
Dora was so happy to see us. She greeted us with such enthusiasm. Upon receiving our keys she had to take down our passport information and then she wanted to explain the many keys you need to use to get in and out. Then she took out the map and she was a wealth of information for travelers. Dora showed us all the attractions you could only hope to see in 2 full days. She explained their breakfast which was already left in the room the night before which helped us leave early for our sight seeing. The room was cleaned and organized very well. Dora was our most outstanding host in all of Italy. The elevator is typical of the times there. Just remember it is not America it is Italy. A beautiful small over crowded country trying to accommodate 2sr century travelers. Highly recommend this guesthouse as long as Dora is there. Thank you! Also in great location to catch trains and buses! We used them all the time.
