The property is perfectly placed for walking to all major attractions and multiple restaurants. HOWEVER if you need assistance it is nearly impossible to contact anyone as there is no staff on premises. Also very tricky to access the property and room due to electronic locks. The property is kept well, the beds are comfortable BUT multiple steps to climb and carry your luggage. No elevator or lift

Nice room but only a room. This is not a hotel and that was not made evident when I booked. Check in was virtual and far from seamless. If you just want a room, it’s fine. If you want an experience, it’s not your place.

Fantastic location in the heart of Ancient Rome. 50m from the Pantheon! Beautiful room and bathroom. Good a/c. Clean. Quiet. Steps to restaurants, shopping and all of the major sites - Trevi, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Pantheon etc. Lots of stairs inside the building to get to the B&B, but not a deal breaker. Highly recommend! Also, LOTS of gelato shops close byto choose from!

The property is very close to the Pantheon with lots of dining options available in walking distance. Be prepared to walk up 2 flights of stairs with your luggage to get to the unit. There is no elevator. The safety deposit box in our unit did not work, the mini fridge was not very cool and there was nowhere we could get ice for our drinks on a very hot 36 degree day.

Great location

Great location! Could not have picked a better location. It was nice, clean (besides the septic smell which is a city thing I believe) easy to get in and out. Beds were so comfortable. They gave you extra like slippers and good bathroom items. Great spot to stay. Would definitely recommend!

It's a private suite in a shared space with a few other suites. Only a block from the Pantheon, tons of restaurants nearby, very convenient location. not a "hotel". no front desk staff, but there is help readily available.

The rooms are large and beautiful. Autonomous check in. The only caveat is there is no elevator, so if you have luggage, then 45 steep steps is difficult . If you are young and fit, no problem. Located a couple hundred feet from the Pantheon, so lots of dining, and easy to get a taxi. The owners are very gracious and accommodating

This hotel is in a great position and walking distance from the Pantheon and Trevi fountain. Shops and restaurants and cafes literally outside the front door which is very handy after a long day of sightseeing. The property itself was unstaffed and is self check in. Details are sent prior to arrival and all went smoothly. We had a very nice clean room and decor is nice too. Only downside in my opinion was there was no view outside the bedroom window, just looked out onto ac units and the backs of other properties which made it very dark inside. Having said that, it’s in Rome so you don’t go there to sit in your room! Would definitely visit again as very convenient location.

The location is great. Right by a bustling street, with access to restaurants and grocery stores. The decor looks nice, the bathrooms are clean and modern. Not disclosing clearly that accessing the property requires climbing to roughly 2nd/3rd floor through a narrow and steep staircase is however irresponsible. I've seen multiple guests struggling with carrying their luggage upstairs. Most importantly, the room design is hostile. While spacious, the "standard" rooms lack convenient seating amenities (this includes the bed, which due to headboard design is unpleasant to sit on), which makes them good only for spending the night. Additionally, while the rooms are soundproofed from the outside of the building, you can hear in detail what folks in the adjacent rooms are doing or talking about.

Excellent hotel but be sure you can climb stairs

Excellent location and the room is wonderfully decorated and spacious. Super clean room and bathroom. The bathroom is small compared to the room but well designed. The shower had some loose components but nothing major. The staff was super friendly and courteous. We had some issues with the reservation but they managed to solve our problems. The most important thing to consider is that the hotel has no elevator. You have to climb 2 large flight of stairs to get to the hotel. With luggage is difficult as they have no bell services. Overall excellent.

Dear Charme & Chic Team, My wife and I stayed at your hotel from April 12th to 15th, as part of our honeymoon trip to Rome. While we appreciated the central location and proximity to many attractions, we unfortunately had several issues that significantly impacted our stay. Upon arrival, we were surprised to discover there was no elevator, especially after coming off a week-long cruise with two 60lb suitcases. It would have been helpful to know this in advance, as it made checking in quite difficult. Once in the room, we were disappointed by a few things. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable, and there was only one flat pillow per person, which led to poor sleep and waking up in pain. More concerning, however, was that the room constantly vibrated throughout the night. It was strong enough to cause items to fall off surfaces, and we barely got any rest. We’re not sure if this was an issue with just our room or the entire building. Additionally, we encountered several spiders in the room (I have photos) and were bitten multiple times by mosquitoes, even though we kept the windows closed. This made the room feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. We did attempt to mention our concerns to the staff member we saw on the first day, but we didn’t see him again during our stay and had no other way to communicate with anyone onsite. Overall, we felt very disappointed, especially as this was supposed to be a special and memorable time for us. We tried to make the most of it.

Fantastic room, well designed with a large bathroom (shower only), two sinks, air conditioned bedroom with a small fridge and very welcoming and friendly staff. There is one TV with Netflix, one chair and a couch which becomes a bed. The location is above a busy street, filled with outdoor dining, street vendors and occasional buskers. It is incredibly central and in walking distance of most of Rome’s major attractions and it is the location that you are mostly paying for. The downside is it can be a little noisy late at night but it’s worth it for the atmosphere and location. My only gripe with the property is that calling this a suite is simply not true and Expedia claimed that it had a separate sitting room which it doesn’t. The sofa bed is on top of the main bed and travelling with a !6 year old who likes his own space we felt very aggrieved at being misled by the website description and would never have booked this room if we had known. It led to a lot of stress and very little sleep which spoiled our trip but it is suitable for a younger family or adults who don’t mind sharing. Once you know this I would highly recommend it as a great base from which to explore Rome.

Very good room and great location to walk to many attractions including the Pantheon, Spanish Steps etc. Room was large, comfortable, and well lit. Staff friendly and helpful. Unusual door locks so make sure you get a tutorial on how to use - very easy once you understand them. Only issue preventing me from giving the room a 5 star was the weak shower pressure which hopefully can be addressed.
