Great breakfast. The swiming pool was a reat hit with my kids. The stuff was accommodating - they let us to check out late. Bathroom tub was not draining.
Staff was amazing & very kind and helpful. The property is very very old, the rooms are out of date, with little tv's, outdated bathrooms, my magnified mirror was barely hanging on the wall. The breakfast buffet was very bad, just ate the toast. The restaurant was less than average. I will not stay there again. Had to take a taxi to everything & nothing was in walking distance. The pictures look better than the ACTUAL HOTEL.
We stayed as our cruise ship was picking us up from this hotel.
The hotel is located about 40 minutes walk from St. Peter’s square.
We feel that the hotel is in transition in terms of a product. Public areas are well maintained and very clean. We got a guest room with very dated everything; we did walk by a different floor which looked like the rooms have been updated.
The room we got was generous sized and a lovely surprise of having a balcony overlooking a private wooded area. Bathroom was generous sized as well. The room is very clean just dated and had lots of wear and tear. Didn’t appreciate the bedding as the sheet was on bare mattress with the old style blanket (washed??) sandwiched between two sheets. The pillows are flat.
Staff at front desk was helpful and efficient. Housekeeping staff were jovial, friendly and kind. Breakfast area staff were not too attentive.
Breakfast was included and setup as a buffet. Food is ok but coffee was bad. This is based on coffee we’ve had for the last 10 days staying at other hotels.
Won’t recommend this hotel for travellers exploring the city. However if you are driving an RV or car, lots of parking on site.
The staff were really kind and welcomed us better than we expected. The atmosphere in the hotel is very calm and quiet. The rooms are comfortable and served us the best it could. The location of the hotel is pretty far from the city center (around 20-30 mins drive by public transportation) but the close metro and bus station made it comfortable to reach any place quite easily. If you look for a quiet and comfortable place to rest in and you don’t mind using public transportation , this is the hotel for your stay in Rome.
Nice room lobby in n an area a long walk to city center but doable 1.5 miles about. Great celebrity cruise because lobby bus pick up for port by bus. Free breakfast was good. Electric is 2 prong so American adapter neeeded at this hotel. Bed is firm small terrace
Family of 4 from Canada... beautiful, spacious, modern rooms. A lovely pool. Excellent air conditioning which was appreciated in the middle of summer! Very comfortable beds/bedding! Had wonderful live evening entertainment in their patio restaurant but the food wasn't up to par so, recommend eating off the property. All the front desk staff were very pleasant with excellent English which was helpful for getting assistance with directions, etc. Would stay here again.

Is it worth it??
Stayed 7 days, convenient location, very helpful front desk staff, the room was dated with old furniture, even though we paid for a room with balcony. Minimal toiletries, the breakfast was good but same every morning. Our room was a connected room and you could hear the people next door, specially their music. I think it does not justify the price.

Overall Aesthetics
The room was clean. However, it didn't look like the pictures online. The chairs were different, didn't have the curtains or decorative pillows, and water came out the shower onto the bathroom floor. Also, we couldn't enjoy tv because there were no subtitles available everything was in Italian.
As most will gather this is really a 3 star hotel (which I knew when booking it), but nonetheless a pretty decent hotel. The negatives are that rooms are dated and absolutely not soundproof as advertised. Electricity plugs etc in the rooms don’t work as they should. Our classic double room was small but consistent with advertisement. Bathroom was good and we had a nice balcony with a view of St Peter’s.
The lobby, restaurant and pool area are all really good. One of the very few hotels I found where the pool is open in May. Breakfast was good.
Located in a good and quiet area. We walked with our 11 and 12 year old children to the metro station (15 minutes) which was through a safe area.
Borderline rating between 6 and 8, it depends on what you value the most in a hotel.
First of like to say the interior of the building was beautifully done, such calm and peaceful community where the hotel is located. Not far from the beautiful Vatican City and other historical sites. The staff were amazing and food was delicious. I’d recommend going there if you’re interested to see historical sites and monuments.
