It’s nice to have free breakfast even we didn’t try when we were staying there as we need to do an early checkout. Good instructions in checking in and out, very accommodating . Good area, few minutes away to Basilica and other establishments. I recommended this place.

our stay was great! The lady who checked us in provided a delicious breakfast for us! The bathroom was a little stinky when we first arrived. The location was great right near Vatican City! It was about an hour walk from Old town Rome. But you can take scooters there for easy and fun transportation.

Very safe area. Perfectly located! The Vatican is right there and there are many restaurants, gift shops, laundromats etc in the area. There is breakfast, a common area and luggage storage which was all really convenient. It was one of the best places we stayed on our trip.

Our accommodation was centrally located, condition of property was satisfactory. Would have been useful to have had a place to lay cases on for a short stay . Good hanging space and shower fine .

We loved this place! the neighborhood was very walkable, food in the area was excellent. we loved the staff. they were friendly and responsive. We plan on going back to Italy next year and will stay here again!

Clean and great breakfast

Great breakfast, the lady who prepared it was there the whole time, like she was monitoring us. Other people who stayed in other rooms were a bit loud. Place was clean and good.

What a great place to stay! This is a unique property just outside the Vatican walls. The staff couldn't be nicer or more informative. The accommodations were fine. I highly recommend staying here.

Highly recommend staying here. Alessandro, Susan, and the staff are so kind. Make sure to message them or call to arrange leaving your bags before check in. Breakfast was so delicious and the room and bathroom were nice!

Nice and close to Vatican

Was a little surprised to arrive - didn’t realise it was a shared house. In saying that we didn’t hear them come or go and it’s still quite private and secure was happy with location

Allegra's House is a gem. Although it is old, we have no problem with plumbing and hot shower. The location is superb. We're right outside the Vatican. The bus stop and metro is just 2 minutes to 6 minutes away. Breakfast is quite good and the staff who cooks our breakfast is friendly.

Highly Recommend!

The stay was amazing! The host was very friendly, willing to help, and provided great services. The room was very spacious and could accommodate up to four people, and the terrace was perfect for late night snacks or breakfast. The only thing was the Wi-Fi was a bit slow in the room we stayed in. However, we had a wonderful time here, and easily the best stay we had during the entire trip!

Good price

Good price and good clean room and good breakfast too to get you going. Bathroom is ok, could use some more cloth hooks or towel rack, the only two that were installed were above the bidet, the glass shelf above the sink was not secured, it slipped out, luckily it did not shatter or fell on my feet. Location is great, quiet at night, great foods and close to meeting spots for group tour.

Our room was in a great but very busy part of Vatican City. It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in the area and a transit ride away from the Colosseum. Litzia prepared a great breakfast and was cheerful and friendly. I’m not sure I would bring a car into this area again as parking is either incredibly difficult to find or very expensive! Otherwise great place to stay!

Property was rated as Wonderful but was basic at best. Good place if you’re back packing on a budget. No frills. Parking in the area was really difficult. Apartment was noisy inside and outside. 4 different keys for access, sounded like breakfast time in the jail
