The staff were really friendly and our room was good, it's a shame the bar closes early, we were up there for a gig at the Town Hall and wanted a drink afterwards with our friends, luckily the Bruce Arms were very accommodating. A nice place to stay, a shame there were no biscuits in the rooms for your afternoon cuppa though."

A word of advice - if your room overlooks the rear of the hotel you can expect to hear loud noise from the kirchen extractor unit which runs from 7am to 10pm and if you're tired and want to slepp or have children beware"

Overall, the stay was very relaxing, with the hotel located in a nice country setting and staff were all welcoming."
