"I’m 33 weeks pregnant so we wanted a close-ish getaway with family before the big day. This place was perfect. We enjoyed burgers and dogs on the grill, had smores each night around the fire and the kayaks were so fun! We ventured into the town for dinner and also checked out the waterfall which provided enjoyment for everyone from our toddler to my mother in law! Great spot. "

"This cabin is just right for two people. It's so quiet in the woods with just one other cabin nearby but far enough apart to feel like you're by yourselves. Had everything we needed. Small kitchen but very suitable for cooking meals. Grilling supplies (including charcoal and starter fluid)made it easy to grill out. Nice little porch to enjoy coffee in the morning. I would recommend for anyone who looks for a quiet place away from the action."

"We had three middle-aged siblings, their spouses, and mostly young adult children/cousins (17-26, one 13 year old), totaling 11. The house is beautiful, large fully equipped kitchen with many nice-to-haves in addition to the basics like insulated coffee carafe, muffin tin, etc, and a second fridge in the entry way! Beds were comfortable, rooms were a little tight for the number of young adults (they were all in the bunk beds/sofa bed, probably would have been better for three or fewer couples...

"We stayed in the unit for two nights. Very clean place, quiet environment. We had very good night rest. This unit has stove and a normal size fridge. We were gone during the day - enjoying the beach, swimming in the lake. Hoeft State Park is 11 miles away. Ocqueoc falls is 10 miles away. Highly recommend!"
