The owners were extremely helpful, responsive, and kind, and we appreciated the welcome treats and thoughtful tips shared throughout our stay. The jacuzzi was very relaxing, and the electric fireplace made the space feel especially cozy. A few notes that may be helpful for future guests: although the listing indicates the entire cabin, part of it is locked off and occupied during the stay. While we didn’t actually see the owners — just noticed their cars — the hot tub is located right outside their window, which made us hesitant to use it. For families, it’s also worth noting that the second sleeping area is in a loft separate from the main sleeping space, which may not be ideal for small children. When we stayed in January, the lake was completely frozen and snow-covered, so the view was all white snow and not the open water that the photos suggested. Overall, it’s a lovely, beautifully cared-for place with attentive hosts, and we would happily recommend it. "
