"Lovely home, surrounded by trees and with beautiful view of the mountains. Close to fantastic hiking and solid options for eating out, and a quick drive to Lake Placid if you want a bit more variety or to do some shopping. This was the cleanest rental house I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve rented a lot over the years. The house was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The owners were thorough and responsive. Would love to return in the future!"

"It was a nice place to stay, the area is beautiful. Nice resturant right down the road. Numerous hiking trails in the area. Some plugs are split between on/off at the wall vs at the equipment. Beds vary in hardness/softness. AC temperature control works. Two external doors, access through game room is narrow, use to open other external door to living room."

"Private, well located near High Peaks. Great layout of rooms. Very spacious. Lovely white birch lined driveway. Enjoyed the wildlife from the many large windows. Owner was quick to respond to our questions. Cell service was spotty but I was ok with that. "
