"Great place to stay for going touring or riding the mountains, especially the “tail of the dragon”"

"I had never been to a bed-and-breakfast before, and this was a pleasant first experience. The furniture and decor and charm of what you would expect were all there. Including olden dolls and stuffed animals lol The breakfast buffet served in the morning was pretty impressive. A lot of options and everything was tasty. It does start at 8am, so you early risers might not enjoy that. The screened in bottom patio and open second floor patio were really nice with lots of seating. I will say that the room itself was a bit smaller than expected (I think I booked the smallest 1 bed) I also barely fit in the shower… So I’m not sure how larger adults would fare in there….The sheets and comforter were recognizably thin. Mattress a little lumpy but I still slept decently. Clean property and aside from some pretty old furniture, it looked maintained."

"The staff was very friendly, kind, helpful. They LOVED interacting with our Beagle Theodore. They showed him so much love. We had a great view of the mountains. We did unfortunately miss breakfast during our stay, so I can not leave a review for that. The hotel was also quiet & in sections of different buildings making it more personal. We had a nice large private balcony that is separate from the main entrance of our room. Also the parking was not in front of anyone's bedroom window."

"Very comfortable, clean room. Housekeeping was great and appreciated having plenty of towels available especially when hiking & sometimes taking more than one shower a day. Convenient location in Townsend with good restaurants around. Staff was very nice and accommodating when we knew we would be leaving earlier on days that breakfast hours didn’t start, they gave us a coffee maker, coffee & tea for our room. Appreciated the Christian touches. If I had to give one suggestion it would be to start the continental breakfast hours at 7am"
