Vineyard Retreat
We had a very enjoyable four night stay at the vineyard retreat. The communication with the hosts was excellent, very friendly. The property is lovely, the kitchen has all that you require for your stay, the bed is very comfortable and the lounge area is pleasant with a view of the vineyard. We enjoyed the location of the retreat, the local area is delightful, there are so many places to visit. We would stay again at Riwaka Vineyard retreat.

Quiet country retreat
Great place to stay. Owners very friendly and enjoyed chatting with them. Loved the chickens and the friendly fantails. Very peaceful and close to all the attractions in the area.

Vineyard retreat
Very comfortable with all the necessary features. Hosts were great on checkin and respectful of our privacy. Really enjoyed listening to all the birds and being entertained by our local group of fantails. Very convenient to Kaiteriteri Beach. Look forward to staying here again on a return trip to Kaiteriteri.

This property is a working vineyard and farm. The lodging is private and quiet. The owner was very helpful. The entire area is stunning.

Lovely spot, well equipped with everything we needed and very convenient for exploring Abel Tasman. Paul and Amber were gracious hosts. Our only regret was not purchasing more wine!

Probably not the most luxurious or spacious property on VRBO but definitely one to experience and great value for money! We loved our time on the family working vineyard, the great hosting, and the great wine next door! Ideal base to explore the delights of the Abel Tasman area. Thoroughly recommend.

We loved this place - so private, peaceful and relaxing, and a great place to unwind. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped, and well placed for exploring the Abel Tasman region. The vineyard setting was just lovely, and we particularly enjoyed wandering around the little vegetable and flower garden, or just sitting out there with our coffee in the mornings. We stayed for a week but could happily have stayed longer. Great hosts too, we felt very welcome. Thank you!

Close to town and local attractions but because you were on the vineyard it was quiet, not camper van hell Hosts were amazing, so helpful and friendly I would love to stay there again and drink more of their wine

Relaxing stay in a great location
Amber and Paul were very welcoming and the vineyard was fabulous. Paul treated us to one of the most interesting wine tastings we’ve ever had. The facilities, particularly for laundry, were as described and expected. If we are ever back in the area would definitely return to this accommodation .

Ideal setting and situation
We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the Bach and surrounding area. Amber, her Mum and Paul were great hosts. We learnt a lot about grapes, hops and olives from conversations with Paul. The Bach was well appointed but a chest of drawers would have been useful in the bedroom for our longer stay. It was ideally situated to go to Kaiteriteri, Motueka and to drive north to Takaka and Collingwood. The beaches at Kaiteriteri are great and the boat trips , kayaking etc all start from here. It was our first visit to the area and we could not have picked a better place to stay.

The photos don't do this spot justice. Nestled between hops, olive tree, and vineyard. Beautiful flower gardens, friendly host and animals. Very lovely spot - highly recommend.

Beautiful farm like setting, very peaceful. Good base location for Kaiteriteri and Motueka. Only downside was the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable, would probanly be ok for one kid or one adult

A great base for Abel Tasman walks and activities
The cottage was a cosy and well situated base for our time exploring Abel Tasman and the Nelson region. A super comfy bed and nice lounge meant that we were very comfortable during the evening and nights. Good wifi and access to Netflix was a nice touch too.

Your own little home in a boutique winery
Friendly welcome from Paul - and small cute dog! A peaceful and private setting with everything that we needed. Hosts had thought of all their guests possible needs. Lovely garden and outlook. Very clean, tidy, light and tastefully furnished. Was a great spot to be based for 4 nights with the Abel Tasman National Park close by.

My family had a wonderful stay, communication was great, check in and out was straight forward, the hosts were very accommodating and helpful, the cottage was charming, clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed exploring the vineyard and our children loved visiting the animals. It was an excellent location from which to explore parts of Abel Tasman national park.

Cottage was ok. It had everything that we needed and once we had been there for a bit was nice and cozy. Sadly it rained all the time that we were there so were unable to go on any walks around the area but would have been very handy if weather had been suitable.

I cannot recommend this beautiful place highly enough. We stayed with our 4 year old son and he was encouraged to ask questions about the vineyard and even collect eggs. Amber was so welcoming and the check in was seamless. Nothing was too much trouble. Place was super clean and bed comfy. We even got to do a wine tasting and couldn’t help buy a few bottles to take home. Would highly recommend. We will definitely be back 😍

What a fantastic wee place for our stay. Exceeded our expectations. It had everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay (the bed was very comfortable!). Excellent location. Wonderful stay in Riwaka
My husband and I had a wonderful month long stay at the winery cottage. The hosts were so generous and kind. The grounds were beautiful and relaxing. Loved the ducks and chooks greeting us daily! Harvesting was hard work but well worth the delicious wine! Thank you so much for such a lovely stay and for being so accommodating.

A charming and character filled location and situation, perfect to explore the region from.
Nestled amongst a working vineyard, Amber and Paul extend genuine and respectful hospitality while working their vineyard, sympathetically keeping the history of their location alive and whilst making a little of their own.
