Potentially Awesome if it was clean.
The apartment was nice with a great view of the beach/street but it was dirty. The shower had mold everywhere aswell as the hand basin in the bathroom and kitchen. The beds were super hard and didn't have mattress protector and the bottom sheet kept coming off. The place had a lot of potential if it was just kept clean. Breakfast was normally make your own grilled sandwich. The office staff were great and Moa did awesome tours. Inc the favela, rainforest & half day rio high light - the samba night was a little too crazy for us though. It was a great location 2 blocks from copacabana beach but we preferred impanema beach in the northern corner. It had better surf, nicer sand and clearer water.

Minha segunda vez no Copa Hostel
Já conhecia o Copa Hostel em um outro endereço, e nesse novo, continua bem localizado, até numa rua mais tranquila do que a original, o atendimento continua ótimo, tudo organizado, e foi tudo que eu precisava e esperava, é um destino que sempre pretendo utilizar quando estiver de passagem pelo Rio, bem próximo da praia, com diversas opções de lanchonetes e restaurantes, comércios diversos, metro. Conversar com os proprietários é sempre um item que dá segurança para o cliente, e eles estão sempre por lá. Devido a recente mudança de endereço, estão organizando tudo ainda, mas já está 100% funcional e a experiencia de anos dos proprietários é fundamental para o sucesso e acolhimento exemplar do hospede .

Es cómodo y está muy bien ubicado !
Hola ! Lo malo es que me cobraron un 11% de recargo sobre el "total " que ustedes decían , me tenían que cobrar . Lo demás todo bien , no paré en el hostel , me dieron un departamento a una cuadra y a una cuadra de la playa , la limpieza nunca vino pero estaba muy bien cuando lo tomé .

Era época de Juegos Olímpicos, los precios fueron extremadamente caros. No tenía ningún servicio. Alquilamos dos departamentos, uno no tenía WIFI y la TV por cable funcionaba mal. El olor del sector de desayuno no era agradable, no tenía ventanas ni buena ventilación en ese sector. La atención de recepción fue correcta, amables. Los departamentos no tenían ni sillas ni mesa, un colchón extra estaba en el piso y no había donde ocultarlo.

De início é preciso deixar R$ 20,00 reias de depósito da chave! E caso vc não faça checkout ao 12:00 perde esse dinheiro. Em segundo lugar a limpeza dos banheiros é precária! Além disso existem, no hostel inteiro, apenas três sanitários masculinos sendo que um nem porta tem, e o hostel acomoda mais de 30 homens! Imaginem todas essas pessoas compartilhando apenas 3 sanitários! Outro ponto negativo é o Wi-Fi que não pega no quarto e área social (fiquei no quarto 11 com 6 pessoas). O ar condicionado só é ligado à noite para dormir e desligado as 10 da manhã! O café da manhã é ok. Mas é servido tarde! Das 8:00 às 10:00. Precisei quardar minha mala no hostel e me foi cobrado 5 reais por isso! De todos hotéis e hostels que já fiquei no mundo essa foi a primeira vez que fui taxado por esse serviço! É o pior, só é possível deixar a mala até as 19:00 horas! Se passar cobram um multa de 20 reais! Achei um abuso! Não recomendaria esse lugar para um amigo

Appartement "vieux" et très usé
Nous sommes arrivés à Copa Hostel à minuit. La personne qui nous accueille nous demande de payer le solde pour nous donner les clés. Nous lui expliquons que nous n'avons pas eu le temps de faire le change mais que nous la payerons dés le lendemain matin. Elle a nos passeport et surtout elle sait où nous sommes. Elle ne veut rien savoir et nous dit de payer tout de suite. Lorsqu'un de ces managers arrive celui-ci nous dit qu'il n'y a pas de problème. Nous voilà soulagé. Nous allons à l'appartement. Et là, rien à voir avec les photos. La personne qui nous accompagne nous explique que les photos qu'utilise Expedia ne sont pas réelles. Lorsque je lui souligne qu'à l'accueil il y a les mêmes photos qu'utilisent Expédia elle bafouille et ne me répond pas. Elle veut qu'on signe un inventaire de tous les éléments constituant l'appartement ( couverts, assiettes...). Ok pour nous après avoir vérifier avec elle que tout est bien là. Elle s'emporte en nous disant que c'est pas important qu'il faut lui faire confiance et que nous devons signer. J' explique que je préfèrerai vérifier avec elle avant de signer mais elle ne veut rien savoir et part de l'appartement en colère. Le lendemain nous demandons à un des managers pourquoi l'appartement ne ressemble en rien aux photos d'Expedia. Il tient le même discours que sa collègue. Quand je lui dis que les photos d'Expedia sont les mêmes que celles derrières lui sur le mur, il bafouille et ne nous répond pas. Nous sommes déçus part Copa Hostel.
