Good location and close to beaches and transport. Area felt safe and staff were friendly. A few years of wear and tear means the hotel is not as new and fresh looking as the pictures so would benefit from a refurb. Deluxe room is a bit small with limited storage. The stay was okay overall

The room was big, and simple breakfast included. One big thing that stands out is the good location. Other than that, the keys were not working everyday and I had to reset them at reception multiple times a day. And one evening the toilet was stuck and backflowed into my room. Staff say they couldn’t change the room only clean it. Some staff were not helpful at all. And the younger ones were much nicer and willing to help.

Fantastic staff, without them this place wouldn’t be that great but they really are excellent. Great location, a few minutes walk from Ipanema beach and Copacabana. Great breakfast, a lot of choice including healthy granola, fruit and yoghurt. The room was ok, big and a reasonably comfy bed, the floor was a bit dirty. Everything is white including bright white lights which make it look like an institution and white shows all the scuff marks. Many of the light switches didn’t work or we couldn’t figure them out. The towels were threadbare and looked grey from being washed so many times and our cotton bedding looked old and was very frayed. If you can put up with that then this place is a pretty good deal for the price especially for the good location.

Definitely not as nice as it looks online. The room was well worn, the towels very old, the shower needs proper cleaning, old dirty grout, and the WiFi was horrible. The breakfast needs improvement. Tons of breads and cakes, that were very good, but very few healthy foods.
