"Rooms were dated. Windows did not completely close. Beds were clean air conditioning was good. I do not know if there were elevators to any other rooms but we had to go up and downstairs. They were a little unsteady and we are in our 70s. The worst part of it all was no hot water! That is the worst after a long day of traveling. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of variety. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. "

"Clean spacious room. Not too far from the airport. We stayed here for two nights after a late flight and then a day trip to Tortuga. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was able to accommodate our dietary requirements and dinner was well priced. Breakfast also provided a good variety of options."

"The hotel is well located bright and new but the dining room is terrible. A poster in the elevator advertised a pasta meal with wine, choice of pasta dishes,salad bar and desert for just $14 but when we tried to order it the server first said it wasn’t available. We eventually insisted on it but it turned out to be only a tiny salad, spaghetti with tomato sauce, a glass of wine and a piece of cake (no choice). Service was slow and the dining room feels like a cafeteria. By far the worst dining experience I’ve ever experienced in Costa Rica."

"Very nice hotel with excellent amenities. The free airport shuttle doesn’t run very often, so we weren’t able to use it. The location is cocked by highways so you need a taxi to go almost anywhere if you want to explore the city or eat outside of the hotel. "
