"We had a fantastic stay in Grand Poet Hotel. We booked the Deluxe room and we were given room 419, which had a fantastic view over the park and Riga old town. There was plenty of room for 3 people including our son. Room was tastefully decorated and super clean. We utilized the valet parking which was really convenient. Charge was 30 Euros per night. Hotel was walking distance from everything, including all the nice restaurants in the old town. SPA was nice, but a bit overcrowded at all times....

"Impressive view of the river from the front of the hotel. I was shown to my room and helped with my luggage when I checked. A new experience for me and helpful in finding the way to my room in the annex. Parking was outside and on a dusty area so my motorcycle became very dusty and was hit by some bird droppings. On the plus side it was located next to the 24 hour manned kiosk. "

"The hotel is very modern and clean. Our room was a good size, quiet, and had a view of the Riga river. They have an excellent breakfast buffet. The location is excellent. It is near old Riga, buses and trams leave from right in front of the hotel, and the train station is nearby. Right across from the hotel is the giant Riga marketplace. The staff were friendly and helpful. If we need to come to Riga again, we would definitely choose this hotel. The only glitch we had was that at first the...
