"Stayed at the Stateside lodge. Best part about it was all the hangers in the unit to hang our wet clothing from the unfortunate spring rain conditions. Room was nice, beds comfy and staff friendly. We had a great time at Jay and look forward to returning. "

The kitchen was well equipped and the location is perfectly situated near Newport and only 30 minute from Jay Peak. Everything was spotless and comfortable and the lake views were amazing. Highly recommended this property and we'll definitely be back this summer and winter!"

"Overall the unit was good. Great location to the slopes, exactly as described. Only complaint would be the primary bedroom mattress was very soft, rolling into the middle of the bed at night. The dishwasher was also very loud, only run it when you plan to leave the unit for awhile. The unit was clean and the kitchen was pretty well equipped."

"Convenient location with basic but clean and comfortable rooms at an affordable price. Plenty of on-site parking and only 4 miles from Jay Peak. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Nice restaurant/bar on the first floor with a decent menu and large portions. Only minor downside is the reataurant/bar stops serving at 9pm even on weekends. Would be better if they served until at least 10."

"Clean, welcoming, and with the scent of new cedar- this place was amazing. Tucked just off Rt. 100 about halfway between Stowe and Jay Peak, with a great general store close by and yet quiet and rural. It’s a steal at the price. The shower was awesome, the bed very comfortable, and the host very accommodating. She got the place ready for me on short notice! I will definitely be back! "
