"Would not go back if our lives depended on it. The best thing about this hotel was the location. It is in the heart of downtown and in walking distance to the main venues and many restaurants. However, the staff was not friendly. No welcome was extended at anytime during our stay. We had to switch rooms multiple times. The first time was due to the room smelling like a cigar lounge. The second time was due to the room having no heat, in the middle of a Midwest winter! We were forced to stay in that room because no other rooms were available. The hotel provided us with 2 space heaters at 3am, after the maintenance people tinkered with the heating for multiple hours. The last room we went to was a handicap accessible room, but at least we had heat. Because of our troubles, we were promised a refund but never received it. We had to call to hassle the managers to give us the refund we were promised. Needless to say, next time we're in Cleveland we'll stay somewhere else!"

"Worst hotel experience. My deluxe 2 bed hotel room got downgraded to a single bed room two days prior to my arrival without any email, text, or notification telling me this. Apparently Expedia changed the room and since they're a "third party" the hotel couldn't do anything or give me any money back. They told me they would bring bedding up for the pull out couch I was not excited to use, but they did not. I tried using the vending machines and they didnt work, and the hotel had no change for a 20. Again, the vending machines were from a "third party" so they couldn't do anything and I was expected to just allow my cars to "process" for who knows how long. There were stains on the comforter, the room smelled like cat urine. "

"Do not stay here if you have any kind of standards. Old property that desperately needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Every part of the hotel was cruddy!! We didn’t even take a shower because the base was cut open and rust had formed around the openings."

"This particular looking to end was a great value for the price. The front desk was very helpful, the breakfast and coffee great, the exercise amenities were surprisingly good, and I appreciated the free parking. Cleanliness was so-so with some hair in the tub but I can live with that."

"The hotel was clean, beautiful, historic and conveniently located to all downtown attractions. Ll attractions such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Progressive Field and Rocket Arena are all within walking distance of the hotel."

"The overall condition of the building an amenities just felt run down and outdated. No option for queen beds so my husband and i had to share a double which was definitely not ideal and wasnt comfortable. There was trash in the can when we checked in, no toiletries provided at all. Not many channel options, paid extra for a balcony and the furniture was janky and outdated and the carpet was old and stained. I stayed at this property about 7 years ago and it has definitely (unfortunately) gone way down hill."
