Lobby was nice and quiet. Rooms were a little old/dated but clean. The bed wasn’t the comfiest but we only spent one night so didn’t mind

The first room we were in was 517 and the shower was clogged. It needs plumbing. Then, we were at 419 and it was clear that the shower curtains was dirty.

Great staff, location and value for money
Great location for exploring Reykjavik (and also if you have a hire car to park but want to keep parking charges down), fantastic and extremely helpful staff, very clean, excellent breakfast. There’s really very little to criticise here: my only comments are that, even for the (relatively - this is Iceland) low cost, the beds were too soft and the bathroom was too basic - nowhere to place or store toiletries, or keep anything handy in the shower. Overall though, we had a great stay, and it was very good value for money.

Ideal hotel with great staff!
Enjoyed a 3 night break here with my daughter. Hotel was well situated for Reykjaviks’s attractions. And the views across the water were awesome. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful any time I asked for advice. Thanks for all your help guys 😊 Would stay here again without a problem!

The breakfast was wonderful. One of the best I've seen. The rooms are old. The bathroom is old. Bathroom has only one small bar above the sink. Maybe 16 in by 4 in to store stuff. Think about that. That's not not much room at all. There's no dresser in the room. There is no clock in the room. There is no paintings on the walls in the room. Clean but very sparse. Location is not convenient to downtown shops, restaurants. Very limited restaurants in the area.

Short trip to Iceland
The Hotel location was great - perfect for bus drops and tours - and also only 3 mins walk to bus stop 12 another central location. Staff were so helpful and polite and accomodating. Buffet breakfast was also more than ample with a great selection. The rooms were very clean and functional - although relatively basic, but this was not due to the hotel, but more so down to accomodation generally in Iceland. Location was right behind the main "strip" in reykjavic, and 5 mins from a great selection of bars and restaurants. Great value for money and would certainly book again in the same chain

The rooms are not exactly as advertised online. only the premier rooms are as advertised. kind of disappointed when checking in, no doubt the services of the staff were good. The standard room has mold smells to me, probably due to the cold and wet country.

A lovely hotel. Quiet (compared to the big hotels). Spacious room, good bathroom and shower. This was our second stay in 12 days (we did the Iceland circuit). Near small supermarket. Staff always really friendly and helpful. Parking is the "killer". Unless you want to pay ISK5500 (per night) for parking at the hotel you have to troll the city streets for parking. Parking a huge rip-off.

The lobby was nice and the breakfast good, but the rooms were very outdated. Thin doors, one overhead light, view on to industrial area. Upon arrival, we hardly got any acknowledgment of our presence; seemed to resent us for interrupting them. Toilet broke the first night, which was fixed only after it seemed to be an inconvenience to the staff member. No real apology. Breakfast ended at 10, but no more eggs after 9:15. Bathrooms tiny with nowhere to put anything and water sprayed on to floor from small square shower door. Acceptable for a cheap hotel but this was not in that category. Photos of lobby kind of deceiving about the rest of the facility.

The hotel is fine. The rooms are a nice size with a nice sitting room area. Parking is avail on site but $$$. There is also public parking nearby. Right next to main shopping and restaurants which is very nice

I did not like that we were not informed that there was no parking. The parking cost us $47.00 to stay overnight.to park in the lot at their front door. Not happy. The bathroom too small . It was a good location.

I booked a double bed room, what I ended up with was two twin beds. Since I booked with expedia, they did not value my reservation details, only gave me what they wanted. It was not a nice room for what I paid.

I had a great stay. The staff were always kind and helpful and the room and hotel lobby were clean and well-cared for. I had a great view of the water and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could use a little more counter or shelf space- there was only a very small pedestal sink. I ate breakfast at the hotel every morning becuase the breakfast bar had it all! Parking at the hotel is expensive and parking in general is hard to come by later into the evening. Check out the public parking garages nearby for easy overnight parking. Being so centrally located and near the water is worth that hastle. I would stay here again.

On site breakfast buffet was good - happy hour for beer and wine was nice! A little off the beaten path; not enough time to thoroughly learn the bus system, but everything within walking distance - if you're will in to walk 1/2 hour! Spartan rooms, but clean and functional - remember, this is Iceland and not Las Vegas!
