"Hotels.com never contacted the hotel about my reservation, but the staff was happy to work with me and get us a room. Friendly staff, clean and large rooms, very well equipped. This is a new hotel and I strongly recommend it if you’re visiting Ramstein or K-Town. Five stars, would stay again!"

"My room was like a little apartment. We stayed there a week, and on the 3rd day we realized you have to request the remote to the AC in order to use it. The food does not come with the room youll have to pay extra. Very tasty tho. The workers treated us very nice compared to the rudeness we endured throughout Germany. If we come back we will choose this establishment."

The lady at the front desk said it was broken for a while but we were not told upon checkin...come to find we were sent an email that same day about the issue as we are traveling abroad we obviously sometimes are out of cell signal. "A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."

"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."

The hotel rooms are pretty clean and the location is amazing if you like to do more of walking or hiking. It was a bit private place, not much noise from outside. Just pure Nature.
