"Look, it's a La Quinta. So, take this 5 star with a grain of salt. It ain't the Ritz. That said, it was brand new, super clean, an easy drive to everywhere, and affordable in one of the most expensive places on Earth. The breakfast buffet was a good La Quinta breakfast buffet.
One tip: they charge like $35 for parking, but even they'll tell you: if you park ON the street outside or in one direction off the hotel, it's free and safe. Apparently the other direction gets a little dicey, but all good. I parked for 4 days on the street, found a spot every time. Would I park my Bentley out there? No. Do I have Bentley? Also no. So, if you're the type of person who, like me, stays at a La Quinta, the type of car you drive will be perfectly safe on the street. "

"We stayed at the San Jose location when moving our son back in to San Jose State after the summer break.The location was perfect for us, less than 10 minutes away from his school.The neighborhood was quite nice, and even though the street was a somewhat significant thoroughfare, we rarely saw cars passing in front of the house which made backing into the long driveway much easier.The house itself had wonderful amenities, new appliances and fixtures.With four bedrooms, and everybody having a full bath, there was never a time where we felt overcrowded or needing to wait to use the facilities.Keep in mind that the one bedroom containing twin beds is more appropriate for children, as the beds and bathroom were smaller than the others.The master bedroom was massive and had a nice large walk in closet off to the side which was perfect (even big enough for a hideaway bed and for somebody to rest)We were pleasantly surprised that it was quiet, I don't think we heard any sound from our neighbors during the entire visit, especially considering there is a second unit on the property directly behind the house.Whenever we had any concern (which was minor) the owners were very quick to respond with an answer and solution throughout our week long stay.They also allowed package deliveries directly to the front door which was convenient as we used that option several times.It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay here again! Thank you!"
"The house was clean and well furnished. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood with close stores for any necessities. We used it as a base for exploring other areas and it was a quick freeway drive away from the places we wanted to go."
"The property was rundown. The furniture in the living room was different than in the picture posted. There were 3 out of the 8 chairs that were broken. We needed to buy toilet paper because there was only 1 full roll, and a partial roll provided. Soaps were watered down. The trash can outside was overflowing and reeked like it had been sitting there for a month or more, so we were unable to empty inside trash cans. But we did roll the cans down to the curb for disposal. There were missing handles on cupboards, and only 4 glasses and a motley collection of dishes. Overall, we were very disappointed."
