He started to preach to me about some of hte terms and conditions and when I told him I worked in marketing he said I should know better than to ask such a silly question - and he wasnt joking - and nor am I when I say this level of hostpitality isnt good enough"

"Really disappointing experience at Embankment Kitchen. Despite booking a table in advance, we were left waiting far too long. When we arrived, several staff members were clearly present but nobody acknowledged us or even said, “we’ll be with you shortly.” We were simply left standing there wondering what was going on. Service throughout was extremely slow and disorganised. There appeared to be very little communication between staff, which showed in the lack of coordination and attention. When we tried to raise concerns, the response felt dismissive and at times argumentative, rather than solution focused. The overall attitude came across as not particularly bothered about the customer experience. To make matters worse, a teenager in our group was served what looked like a small children’s portion, which was frustrating given the prices being charged. Overall, poor service, long waits despite booking, lack of attention, and an unwelcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, not somewhere we would return to."

"In my first room the sound-proofing window panes were loose and didn’t fit properly, and they rattled. Not possible to sleep. Changed rooms. In new room, panes also didn’t fit together, but didn’t rattle. My son in room next door had same problem. Bacon at breakfast was as dry as leather."

"The worst room ever, NO TOWELS, NO TOILET, NO SHOWER. I don’t understand why this property is still allowed to host anyone. This was probably the worst hotel and should not be hosting any guests. No staff after 9 so access to property is via the yard in the back going up a slippery metal staircase in the rain. Instructions to get in were unclear and sketchy. I had to call the mobile phone provided and a lady helped out to get the codes. When I eventually got in, the area stinks and unkept. Then you have to access the room via a locked key box which was a nightmare to open. When you get into the room there’s a very old and shabby bed, insufficient linen and very cheap furniture. Very uncomfortable throughout. When I was looking for an iron to press my shirt there was nothing. Trying to have a bath and the shared bathroom was filthy, wet on the floor dirty inside and no soap provided The toilet had wee on the floor and toilet seat. I would like my money back please as I feel that I was subjected to the worst conditions possible Thank you "

"I had a very pleasant stay at the Premier Inn Stockport. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well organized, and the location was very convenient. The staff were professional and welcoming throughout my stay. A special thank you to Sheri, who was extremely kind, supportive, and helpful. She made the experience even better with her positive attitude and great customer service. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again."
