But it would have been nice (when they offered to take our bags for us) if they told us our room (#18) was on the third floor and they don’t have elevators. "We didn't have a place to stay, on a whim we just headed up to the Natural Bridge in VA. We found the Peaks of Otter and decided to go for it. It is an older building but it was done up well and very clean. All the room have a magnificent view of the lake and the grounds are delightful to meander around on . We think it 's "our spot" now. We will be back."
