"Sundance resort is beautiful! Nestled right up to the mountains with gorgeous views. We stayed in the cottages and loved it going for a hike to the waterfalls right out our backdoor! "Sundance resort is beautiful! Nestled right up to the mountains with gorgeous views. We stayed in the cottages and loved it going for a hike to the waterfalls right out our backdoor! Upon check-in unfortunately there was some used pool towels left in our room from the cleaning staff by accident, so they immediately moved us to another room, helped us move our bags and apologized profusely. No hotel is ever perfect, but they genuinely cared and acted quickly to move us. The cottage they moved us too was also a bit bigger and had beautiful views. Shout out to Tosh (or maybe Tash, unsure of spelling?) for helping us out that first night. Really made us feel cared for and appreciated given we were in town for a wedding and checked in during a rainy evening. Thanks so much! "

"The setting of the cabin is beautiful with a babbling brook just off the back deck, and snow topped mountains surrounding it. The fireplace is continuously supplied with firewood and kindling just outside the front door. It is close to gorgeous views from nearby hiking trails. Overall, it is a very lovely experience we highly recommend."

"The home itself is beautiful, with gorgeous views, and it’s well stocked with necessities. However, the lack of air conditioning—which was not disclosed—is a major issue. With the large windows, the house heats up like an oven. The house reached 75 degrees by noon and got hotter as the afternoon went on. At a balmy 79 degrees, sleeping was nearly impossible despite minimal clothing, no covers, and multiple fans. It didn’t start cooling down until around 2am, leading to rough all-nighters and dragging days. I can only imagine how hot it gets in the summer, especially since our stay was in mid-March. It was not a restful stay.Opening doors and windows throughout the home wasn’t a viable option for us due to safety needs with our special needs son. Even when I was able to open a couple of doors while supervising, it didn’t make a meaningful difference in the heat.I had assumed AC was standard—right along with power and water—but now I know to double check. I haven’t ever had this issue before, and we stay in the area biannually. The lack of air conditioning was not clear to me at all, and I don’t want other busy moms and families to struggle like we did. Staying here would be best during the very coldest months."

"The house was terrific and the views amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and all the bedrooms and bathrooms well appointed. The only negative is that we were a group of 70 and 80 year olds and I would caution older individuals because of all the stairs. "
