"We stopped to stay in the area before proceeding to Cornwall, and this annex was a great place for a two day stop over. It was clean, and communication with Sara was perfect. There is a small outdoor area, which was good for dog."

"The room was lovely. When we arrived, and on other occasions, reception was unstaffed with no bell or other mechanism to reduce the 15 minute wait for a key and room allocation. Parking was exceptionally good. The building is characterless but clean and functional. The door fitted poorly and was rigged with an alarm if left open for more than 10 seconds, which was a bother. There is a gym which is very small but well equipped and clean with newish equipment. The overall feeling is of a place in need of a face-lift, including the decaying entry decking, however we had a great night's sleep on the comfy mattress in the generous room."

"Staff were very nice. Check in was easy. Room clean and cool, it was a hot day outside. Car park was very busy but we managed to squeeze in, cost £10p night. Breakfast was ok. Choice for cooked breakfast was ok but not very hot, buffet style. Hotel is located close to a busy road, this did not impact our stay at all but the area is a little run down."

"Our long lasting impression will be the excellent attentive, helpful and friendliness of all the staff we encountered. Also, the hotel location was perfectly placed next to the beautiful river Avon and with easy walking distance to the centre of Salisbury."

"They didn’t tell us they didn’t have any room on the ground floor day one when I had booked the hotel and requested a ground floor room for our disabled friend. But when the day came, they sent an email and said they haven’t had any room in the round floor and they were going to prepare one for us with on top £40. Even thought they finally didn’t charge for it and we decided to have a room on the first floor instead. However, their way of managing the case was weird. They should not do it this way."
