Perfect place to stay if all you need is a place to sleep while exploring the area. Beds are comfortable,shower has great water pressure,very quiet at night. Great food just across the road. All major attractions are within 30 minutes. We will definitely stay here again

What a gem. Total throwback to traveling with my parents in the late 80s. Yes, room was small and bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but such a better memory than a chain hotel with no character. Perfect location for exploring the area.

This is a place in Rockerville right across from a popular restaurant that has live music. I stayed in a single room. The room was tiny with just enough room for a bed and mini fridge. It's a convenient location to get around and see Mt. Rushmore, Crazyhorse, and Custer State Park. Staff was really nice. It's not fancy, but very comfortable. I chose this place because of location and price, close and inexpensive. I'd stay again if I needed to be in the area.

It was close to our area of travel and reasonably priced. Main building was very nice that contained the office and breakfast area/lounge. Room was tighter than expected and would be very hard to accommodate 4 adults (we had 3 of us) with luggage and two queen beds in a small cabin. We did lose hot water on our second morning.

We had 7 people in a cabin. One full bed, 4 bunks and a pull out love seat. Two bathrooms full kitchen area. Small, but cozy and when we needed to spread out, we’d walk over to the lodge and watch tv, play games and grab some coffee and juice. The owners were lovely, social and helpful with any questions we had. We went to Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Deadwood, Crazy Horse and Custer State park. Our cabin was close to it all. Highly recommend!!!

The staff was great, breakfast was great if you’re looking for something fast so you can run out see things such as mount Rushmore. The cabins were clean and the mattress was decent. The location was perfect putting us between Mount Rushmore and rapid city.
