"This was a wonderful cabin in a great location. Traffic on our road was minimal, and the stream beside the place was lovely. After being out and about all day every day, it was really nice to come back to the cabin, fix some dinner, and sit outside by the fire pit until well after dark. If we are ever back in the area, we won’t hesitate to stay there again!"

"The property is very accommodating! Everything you can possibly need is there. We did not use the hot tub or grill but they were available. Cabin was closer to a Hiway than we anticipated and a motel behind us….During busy tourist season that could present more noise. Lovely property! Easy communication with host."

It was extremely clean upon arrival and had so many thoughtful amenities, such as all the basic necessities like soap, towels, linens, paper towels, etc., as well as less thought of, but extremely helpful items, like fans, lighter/matches, extension cords, books, etc. Additionally, the cabin itself and the surrounding area was gorgeous. "I wanted to take my Dad and my kids on a truly authentic black hills road trip from MN and this was the perfect spot to stay in between the Northern and Southern hills. We were a half hour drive from Lead, Deadwood, Spearfish etc and an hour to drive to Custer. Carol and Linda's cabin was very comfortable, clean and warm to return to each day and they were very gracious and helpful hosts. Also, the little Mercantile store in Nemo was a great spot to stop to eat at the end of a long day before...

"We stayed 2 nights. We arrived after 7 the first night and shortly after checking in found our toilet did not flush. The lady at the front desk eventually moved us to another room. That room the microwave was out. The staff if phenomenal, the property is dated and could use some attention. The staff the THE only reason i rated so high."

"This is our 4th holiday home family vacation and by far the best. This home is made for making memories. Although located in Rapid City, you would never know once you check in. The scenic beauty looking out the back at the deer is wonderful. The house itself is beyond comparson to the other homes offered. It simply is luxurious fun!! The pool, swim spa, game rooms, home gym, i cant think of anything it's missing. The bar has been set on this one!"
