"Our stay was good. Very clean, had stuff like coffee, tea, sugar, washing up stuff and was an equipt kitchen with fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and hob. Was plenty of parking which was great. "

"Large spacious homely rooms, just a few bits, showing how tired the building is with couple of squeaky door hinges leading to the bathroom and the separate cloakroom. It was brilliant to find an iron and an ironing board for self service, which was very handy.Overall a lovely homely stay!"
"Good size room, very comfy bed. Staff friendly but somewhat convoluted online check in. Water pressure was low but sufficient. Sadly no breakfast on offer currently as place is being refurbished. But in spite of the issues, I will be back when I'm in the area and see what it's like after the refurb is complete."
"Our experience with this property was unacceptable from the start. When we arrived, the host had lost our reservation—we had to call them just to gain access. Once inside, we found the house in a filthy and unsafe state. A full bag of garbage sat on the kitchen floor, a dirty mattress leaned against the house, and a bottle full of cigarette butts was outside.
The cleaner admitted, “Oh, I forgot to clean,” swapped out some sheets, and left. But the space remained unsanitary—greasy dishes, dusty surfaces, used towels, and only cold water in the bathroom. Bed sheets were clearly used and refolded to look clean, and the sofa bed was unusable with no clean linens available. One team member even had to sleep in the car just to have a clean place to sleep.
It got worse: a teammate cut his foot on a tack embedded in the stairs, and there were visible blood stains on towels and linens—a serious health hazard.
We stayed only one night out of necessity due to early work the next day. Afterward, we gave the host a chance to respond—emailed detailed concerns, called to confirm receipt, and were told they’d reply within a day. They never did.Hotels.com claimed they could not "reach them."
We were reasonable, patient, and clear. In return, we were ghosted. Do not book this property. It is unsafe, unsanitary, and grossly mismanaged."
