"Cozy is indeed the word. A neat little apartment with the possibility to drive your car inside the property. Very clean with the necessities l needed to feel comfortable while staying there. If you intend to cook there is no stove but there are restaurants closeby in driving distance. There is however a fridge, microwave and toastie. I really appreciated to hospitality of the host and the bottle of wine. There is also a mini bar available if you forgot to buy drinks in the apartment. 5 nights in a comfortable bed and pillows. Recommended! "

"Beverly and her family were very helpful when we asked for assistance.Location suited us perfectly. However the home is up a very windy steep hillside and we would strongly recommend renting a vehicle. We used Alamo and ventured to new places every day. The beaches are lovely but not our cup of tea and the sun was extremely intense. However we took advantage of in the shade bars and restaurants.Interior was spotless and we used both decks everyday. A family member does coordinate island tours and make sure to book ahead. Beware that practically everywhere is closed on Sundays on French and Dutch sides.Locals speak many languages, both sides use Euros and US dollars. Even Guilders if you have any tucked away. The islanders are very friendly, not at all aggressive and we felt safe everywhere which is desirable for travelling seniors.Our stay was 14 days and we enjoyed the experience of island living. There are many quaint spots if you go sniffing. Oh and the drivers are very polite especially with roundabout protocols and there are many."
