"We knew going in that this stay would require compromise. The price was very attractive, and for us, that was the priority. But...we were anticipating an 'older', somewhat worn out environment, and that's what we found. The room is a very spacious 'suite' layout with a full living room, (desk, pull-out couch, kitchen with safe/microwave/refrigerator and French doors leading to the bedroom. The bedroom, (King bed for our stay), had its own tv and there was a sliding door to fully close off the master from the living/bath. The bath had a single pedastal sink/toilet/tub with a shower curtain. The 'bones' of the facility are solid, but everything needs a refresh. And, while we were there, one of the two elevators was out of service and wait times were 5 minutes +. Needs $ for a renovation because location, (right off Hwy 90) + pool + full bar/restaurant + adjacent to massive Busse woods forest preserve + free parking = great value and upside potential!"

"Giving 2 stars cause the lady who checked me in was really nice. Other than that, my toilet wouldnt flush, someone tried to fix it but it still wasn’t working. Fridge door wouldn’t close and leaked everywhere. Thin walls, person underneath me was playing music all night and was loud in my room. Super noisy place between other guests and road noise. not good if ur a light sleeper. Night time staff rude"

"Our flight got in early, so we knew we might be too early for check in. The first employee we came in contact with told us there were no rooms available. We were able to leave our luggage and go get lunch. There were two other families in the same boat. When we got back, a new employee told us rooms had been available for hours. The lobby looked nice and clean and our room was good with the exception of the bath tub. It was so worn and dirty looking. The soaps had been ripped off of the wall. I explained this to the front desk and asked if there were any better bath tubs. They said that they were all the same because the renovations weren’t complete. They offered to clean the tub, but they didn’t come for a couple of hours. My husband walked to the store and bought cleaner so we could clean it. The breakfast was good and was well stocked."
