"Exceptional stay – highly recommend! We had an exceptional stay at this motel and couldn’t fault it. The location was incredibly convenient, with shops, restaurants and the movies all close by. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and wonderfully quiet. The host was lovely, friendly and welcoming, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into all the little details to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. There was also plenty of parking with a JetSki in tow, which was a bonus. Everything exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, quiet and well-located place to stay!"

"We had a lovely stay at VR Rotorua. The staff were amazing, friendly, and always happy to help. The lake view was beautiful and definitely a highlight of our stay. The only thing that could be improved is the condition of the property, as it could do with some upgrades and modernisation. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the excellent service from the staff."

"The property grounds are very lovely, spacious, wonderful trees and green space, plenty of parking, and wonderful views and access to the lake. We used the tennis court, ping pong table, pool, and hot tub during our stay, and they were all great. The pool is not heated, so the water was too cold for our family, but I’m certain it would be very welcoming during the warmer summer months. The hot tub was nice, although some of our group thought it would be nice if it were hotter. The on-site restaurant was excellent. The staff in reception were always friendly and responsive. Our family of five stayed in a three bedroom accommodation, and it had the perfect amount of space. We arrived late afternoon, and check-in was quick and smooth. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. There were plenty of extra outlets for charging everyone’s phones. There was plenty of kitchenware and fridge space although we didn’t really use any of it this stay. We did encounter some ants on the kitchen counter and dining table even though we didn’t have any food in the place (we ate all of our meals at local restaurants and did not bring back any leftovers/takeaway), but ants can happen anywhere, anytime so we did not get worked up over it. The place was otherwise clean and cozy. If we return to the area, we would happily stay here again."

"The check-in process was really simple, especially considering we checked in after reception closed. Room was clean and very spacious. The pool, hot tub and sauna were very pleasant. Walking distance to the beach. We will definitely be back!"

"The room was large with a large spacious bathroom. The room was on the ground floor and overlooking the street which made you feel looked in to. Some sort of blind or lace curtain would give a bit more privacy. The option for underground parking was great. It had everything we needed and was very warm. There was building work going on on the building next door however we did not hear anything and it did not disturb us at all."
