"We had a wonderful time at this property and couldn't recommend it more highly. The place was spotlessly clean from top to bottom, and there were plenty of supplies for the beach and supplies to use around the house. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully functional and well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals during our stay.The location was fantastic, the beaches that are within walking distance are amazing, everything we needed was close by, and it made exploring the area so convenient. Our teenage kids loved it too.The host was an excellent communicator throughout our stay, quick to respond and easy to work with. It really added to how relaxed and enjoyable the whole trip felt.We'd stay here again in a heartbeat and would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located home base. Can't wait to come back!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely amazing all around. The room is in excellent condition and the resort is phenomenal. Spectacular mountain and ocean views, plus the employees at the resort are so nice and helpful. We loved the restaurants by the main lobby and frequented the cafe every day. We had a wonderful stay."

"This is a great unit in what is a very good resort option for the area. The view is unbelievably good and we enjoyed every moment of it! There’s a short but steep path very close to the unit that leads down to the same gorgeous beach that the 1 Hotel fronts - and you can call a golf cart to come retrieve you back up the hill from a phone trail-side. Khloe was sweet and communicative. The AC was delightful. We cooked daily in the well-equipped kitchen and there are all kinds of thoughtful touches (beach gear; board games) throughout. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Wasn't sure what to expect at first but this resort exceeded our expectations. The vibe was excellent. The staff extremely welcoming. The facilities and rooms were perfect. Location was fantastic. And that overlook for the sunsets were breathtaking. We stayed at another resort afterwards and it was so underwhelming which made our feelings about Hanalei Bay Resort that much more confirming."

"We have been to the N Shore of Kauai before so we know that it is high "funky factor". This property is in a good location at the Hanalei Resort and pretty much like we expected but more worn than we expected. The shower was nice and the bathroom and bedroom pretty clean. The room was rather dark and could use more lighting. The floors were wavy and buckled in places from previous flooding and the stand swing on the lanai is falling apart. It would be nice to get rid of it and have two lounge chairs instead. This said, we were comfortable and had a really good time."

"The light switches were broken, and there was no desk to write postcards. The ocean view is broken by two different balconies surrounding your balcony, so it’s misleading."
