"The Polaris is an older hotel but has everything you need to make your trip to Kimberley enjoyable. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. There is a kitchen as well as laundry in suite. You share a pool area with the Trickle creek lodge but its a very short walk. "

"Tamara the host is at the top of the list when it comes to super hosts. She was incredibly responsive to any of our questions. It became obvious from the beginning that she wanted everything to be as perfect as could be.The place itself was exactly as advertised. It was clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, in a quiet location next to a campground that made it feel like we were at truly away from home. Having the river close by to walk to was nice, although it was a steep climb back to the cabin. Also, there was a great mini-golf (one of the best I have ever seen) just up the hill that also served generous portions of ice cream.Fantastic place that we would re-book in a heart beat the next time our travels take us to Kimberley."

"Everything you could ask for…..When you book some places you question what you should bring. This place pretty much had it all. It seemed obvious that the owners used this extensively for themselves as it was just about as well equipped as a place could be… bathroom well stocked, nice bedding, kitchen cabinets full of teas, coffee, herbs and spices. Unless it was something really unique, I can’t imagine they were missing it… even spray cleaner for vegetables and fruit, if you are inclined. Everywhere you looked, cabinets, fridge, there were baskets of everyday items you might need… Coffee machines of many types, air fryer, even a SodaStream, is there anything they didn’t have? Keurig, French Press…Everywhere you look there are little touches that make it feel like home. Well appointed with an interesting personality all of its own, I wish we had had more time to just hang out there! I hope we have the opportunity to come back!"
