"Very traditional hotel with history displayed. We had a room 131 located at the rear of the main hotel which we found just right. Location is convenient for NT’s Knowl Beach."

"This lovely out of the way, traditional Bed and Breakfast, has the most engaging host. Rod having lived there for over 30 years has all the local history and knowledge. His Breakfast is incredible value for money. Its a pleasant walk over the hill to Lulworth Cove, takes a leisurely hour. Has a great garden to sit and relax."

"Small room, very basic. Shower ok, but door was broken, kept coming off rails. Toilet door wouldn't shut, and lock broken. Breakfast was ok, but could take quite a while, to come out, some days. Only bread option was sourdough, with a tough hard crust, a bit nerve-racking for people with false teeth / plates. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice bar, with plenty of choices. Ample parking."

"Quaint and lovely spacious room with a beautiful view. Gorgeous dining room and outdoor deck. Friendly staff. The tea, coffee and carafes of water were a nice touch."
