"Everything was great. The chalet was very spacious and and comfortable. Could walk across gardens then down to the beach which was very long and private. Best thing though was the hot tub perched on top of the cliff in front of the the owner's cabin which they allowed us for use. It is separated from their residence by a hedge for privacy. We used it as the sun was setting over the bay. We selected this location mostly because of the location being near Wharariki Beach and Dunes (highly recommended for a visit to). We used the BBQ and had a nice dinner in the patio that we sheltered from the strong wind that day."

"Lovely off the beaten track spot to stay while visiting Farewell Spit. Cute little cottage with everything you need for a night or two stop! The bathroom amenities are basic but do the trick for sure.There is a little stream in the garden, nature surrounds the cottage as well as other accommodation spaces on the property but it still felt very private. Heather the host was very welcoming and friendly. She was available if needed and quick to respond. "
