The room was clean and cosy. We liked the apartment and the pool area was empty when were there.The only problem we had was that the sliding doors to the terrace did not close properly. We were at ground floor apartment.

Recently stayed at the Lumina Palms for 1 week. Location was good, walking distance to Punta Cana village, security was amazing, felt very safe, very close to the airport, was quiet, beautiful pool and surroundings and communication with Alejandro was great. My dislikes….was outdated, ceiling fan was covered in dust, repairs need to be done in the kitchen and the bathroom shower wasn’t very clean. I understand that it is not a hotel but they only provided 2 small towels and only a sheet as bedding. A late check out was not possible and I had to wait until the night before to find out. The housekeeper was literally knocking on our door exactly at 11am which was not acceptable and left a bad taste in my mouth. There should be a 15-30 minute grace period to make sure you have all your belongings and you leave it as clean as possible. I have stayed at a variety of hotels and condos in Punta Cana, I expected more from something located in Punta Cana Village. If you want a basic setting choose Lumina Palms but if you expect more as I did, stay elsewhere. I will not return
