"Have just returned from a week's stay here and have to say the bungalow was everything I expected and looked just like the photos I had seen of it. However, unfortunately I have to say that I was disappointed with the rest of the place - the pool was OK and peaceful first thing in the morning but then from about 10.30 onwards every day just had shouting and screaming kids in it (not what I had expected or wanted!) up until 8.00 every evening. "We had an enjoyable stay at Servatur Altamar overall. The room was lovely, with a high balcony and absolutely gorgeous views over Puerto Rico,definitely one of the highlights of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with a great selection and plenty of choice. Check-in was also quick and easy. The main disappointment was the room cleaning. Our room was only cleaned once during our stay, and we actually had to ask for it to be cleaned, which isn't what I would expect from a hotel stay. The pool area was nice, although it's worth knowing that floats and ball games aren't allowed in the pool, which may be disappointing for families with children. We can't really comment on the evening entertainment as we went out every night. The lifts can also be a bit of a nightmare to wait for, although this seems to be fairly standard for the hillside hotels in Puerto Rico. Location-wise, the elevated position gives you fantastic views, but it does mean you're quite limited on where you can comfortably walk. The nearby Europa Shopping Centre is easily accessible, but we found that a taxi was really needed to go anywhere else. Overall, a good stay with fantastic views, a lovely room and great breakfast. With more consistent housekeeping, it would have been a much better experience."

"Buen Family Resort, aunque era Solo Travel. Los cuartos limpios todos los días excelente servicio. Desde la entrada hasta la salida el equipo de trabajo muy amable, atento y profesional. Buen buffet desde desayuno hasta cena.. lo recomiendo para Familias no para Solo Travel. Lo unico que no me gustó fue que el Resort no cambia USA dollars porque no tienen muchos visitantes de USA .lo veo injusto todo cliente debería ser tratado igual no importa de donde venga. Tuve ir en un taxi hacia Puerto Rico Mall para poder cambiar."

"Comfortable and conveniently located within a few minutes walk of shopping centre, large supermarket and clothes shopping avenue. Good bus connections to airport and other areas in Gran Canaria. Decent pool and buffet breakfast. Free airport hotel shuttle not available on Sundays and Mondays. Still, one of my favourite hotels on the island."
