What i really live about was the people, omg they are so professional, si nice.They are always checking on you,in case you need help with anything. Great team. I love the receptionist so nice and professional. They make you feel better and more comfortable. From the beginning when you arrived to the resorts, the personal outing was so nic3 and helpful..We had a great time as a family in this resort . We are coming back, great team!!Thanks

I went to a restaurant they are called blend I was sitting there for over 30 minutes and nobody came up to me to say anything. I had one of my friends from the Dominican Republic come to my resort and they were very rude and disrespectful. This property needs a lot of help.

We had the best time me and my sister from NYC turning up this old people resort! All the staff members were sooo nice, from concierge, the massage ladies who gave us both massages by the beach, and the nightly show they would put on was sooo good you would’ve thought u was on Broadway, these kids are so talented please give them a raise !! The food could’ve been more Dominican style but other than that we had a blast! Definitely will be returning to Viva Heavens 💃💃🇩🇴♥️

The resort is small compared to the ones we have stayed in Punta Cana, but it doesn't lack on anything. When we arrived, I was a bit hesitant, but that changed quickly, the staff and service were the best I'd experienced in a while. The pool area was big enough for entertainment and small to allow me to keep an eye on my 6 yo boy. By the way, he made a lot of friends, it was a good mix of kids of all ages and countries. The ladies from the kid club kept my son engaged as well and the rest of the team kepts us entertained and happy. Normally by the 3rd day I want to head home, not the case here. The staff made us feel at home from the entertainment team, bartenders, security, buffet staff and management. I will definitely go back to Viva.

The absolute worst resort I could have stayed at. Every single female at the front desk has a disgusting demeanor almost like they are bothered that you have questions or requests. Food is beyond mediocre, literally did not enjoy NOT one meal. Then the smoking, good lord everywhere you went you did not escape the constant smoking. Ugh, I went with my son (14) for spring break and if it wasn’t for the three excursions I booked to minimize the stay at the actual resort it would have been a complete disaster. Entertainment…. They get an A for effort but well …… a children’s talent show would be much more entertaining. Beds - hard. Ohhhhh I almost forgot. Housekeeping. The rooms don’t have additional locks on them, like the bars that reinforce for privacy while in room, sooooo expect the housekeeper to barely knock on the door and be standing over your head when you pop your eyes open lmao absolutely ridiculous. Imagine being undressed or a couple in their private time. STAY AWAY.

It was terrible. The food at the buffet was horrible, they gave me the wrong room and said I can upgrade for ten dollars a day per person at a different hotel, how sway! The cleaning lady left my room door opened after cleaning and said I was lying she didn’t leave it open. It rained the entire time I was there so any water excursions was canceled. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you do decide to go you will want your money back.

Check in and check out were somewhat slow and wasn't clear why it took so long to process. But i partly attribute that to the fast fast fast culture of the US/NY that i am used to. Some places are just not in much of a hurry. Overall really enjoyed our stay here! Buffet food was great and there was always a large variety to choose from. The restaurants were ok. Really only like Puebla and Blend. Did not try Sofrita. Pool was clean. Beach was pretty seaweedy but if you walk further from the hotel there are cleaner areas. Somewhat easy to get seats on the beach, less so in the pool area. People would put their towels to reserve chairs for the entire day even if they were not currently at the pool which is frustrating. Entertainment staff were friendly and encouraging. Pretty much only complaint is that it felt like everyone was looking for a tip or for me to buy the souvenirs or activities they were peddling. I wanted to relax at the beach, not keep denying pedicures and to buy a hat. If the hotel could limit this or hage these services available to people who want to request them that would be great.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Nothing we asked for if it was within we were denied. They were also very attentive especially at dining. I should recommend you to set buoys to Mark the catamaran fairway in regards to the rocks, even if there is a local with knowledge on the area, will save you money in the long run, liability wise. On the other hand, will be handy if Expedia as a coordinator of trip or trip package, set the flight as all travel agency, i wont use Expedia again.

Before you decide to book this hotel make sure not to come from Santiago airport the drive is terrible unsafe and 2 hours long. The hotel is nice but we had lots of issues with the bathroom, floods, shower was broken, however the staff was wonderful and helpful but we had to change room. Food is mediocre. Make sure to scan the app for restaurants.

I would like to share about the hotel overall, it was excellent! The food was delicious, and they provide a lot of varieties. Tips; it is really all inclusive so prepare yourself to try everything! The pool is very clean, drinks are amazing, staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It a quiet resort (no noise around the beach, pool or around the property) only entertainment offered by the hotel, which is awesome. Family friendly ;-), a lot of activities to do. Will definitely recommend.

The resort was well maintained. Even though the resort is not directly on the beach, I loved the walk to get there. I would have liked it if water bottles would be replenished in the mini bar daily. The entertainment staff was great, people were friendly and it was easy to get something to eat or a bar drink.

The staff was amazing and very friendly. I would give this resort a 3/10 the WiFi was horrible, no elevator , same food on the beach everyday . The food was regular not that flavorful. This resort is for a very much older crowd and it’s very quiet not a lot of activities going on at the resort

I had no issues at all, stayed 4 days with Friends, loved the Foam party at 4pm at the pool, that was a great touch, friendly staff, buffet had a variation of food, beach was Amazing! Overall a good hotel to stay!

15-20 min from airport. Clean and comfortable. Safe, hair dryer, coffee maker, frig, A.C., hot water worked well. Wi-Fi spotty. Beds/loungers with umbrellas at pool. Towels readily available. Beach, 4-5 min walk. Chairs available any time. Catamaran/kayak/paddle board included. Bring insulated cup for drinks to limit visits to the bar. \ (4) restaurants open every other day. Use Viva App to reserve. Service at restaurants was good. Men not required to wear long pants/slacks for entry, shorts allowed. Service at the buffet was not good. Food however was excellent and varied daily. Coffee shop located left of the buffet that offers pastries and made to order coffee. Nightly shows by the pool. Club, billiards room, and stage area on the 2nd floor. Small gym with free weights and (2) treadmills. Resort provided a great vacation for the price paid.

I enjoyed the walk to the ocean, except for the part of it that smelled of stagnant water. I was very disappointed that the hot tub didn't work, and that even though it said Adults only, children were there. I was also woken up before dawn several mornings as workers went by my window moving their big carts that are very noisy. The problem could be solved by getting rubber wheels for the carts! I was surprised that the seaweed wasn't raked off the beach regularly. The amount of plastic waste in the seaweed shocked and saddened me. That is not the fault of the Resort. It is the tragic result of how little we value this planet, and the ocean spits it back on the shore.
