The place is very nice but the beach is not active and not usable due to lots of seaweeds.the room has no hair dryer .

Room is big and clean. View is gorgeous. Staff is helpful ! Soft facilities could be better. Something not quite happy is the neighbor bar’s party ended at 1:40AM which drove me crazy. I was told that happened occasionally. The second night was quiet.

Stayed here for 5 days, the staff was great, anything we needed they tried to help the best of their abilities. the suit was nice. It was never over crowded in common areas.The complimentary breakfast was yummy. A true hidden gem. made my first trip to DR amazing.

Hidden Gem
If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay while in Puerto Plata, DR look no further. While the hotel is not as big as others what is has to offer is far beyond. Beautiful setting, amazing staff, very comfortable rooms with full kitchens and the restaurant was amazing. Breakfast is included in your stay and Bar staff will find you at the pool for your drink order. I did not get everyone’s name but Lordy(manager) Jennifer(front desk) and Juan(bar tender) were just a few of the wonderful staff. We will be back!

Spontaneous visit to the coast
Beautiful location with nice view of the ocean. The staff/service was outstanding, all of the help made us feel welcomed! The food, both breakfast and dinner were very good. We would definitely come back!

First, the good: nice staff, new and clean and spacious. Breakfast was also good. It's located a stone's throw from Ocean World with good views. Not good: they have a hot water issue: even when the instant-hot unit was finally turned out, it was impossible to get more than a few moments of hot (burning hot) water from it. Maybe defective, maybe an inferior make of heater. Also, the main room gets VERY hot. There's a fan, but it's useless; purchased for its novel design, not for any effectiveness. We had an outage of Internet and TV after 830 pm or so, discovering they depended on one provider for both - service was not restored. The AC unit (there's just one) inside the bedroom rumbled and clanked LOUDLy all night. This hotel needs to reconsider its water heating, fans, and AC setup to be a good choice.

The hotel was perfect for two nights.. ..clean, quiet, well-maintained. I think the best thing is the staff. Everyone is very pleasant and helpful, like family. The restaurant is rather elegant, with a nice variety of dishes. Betty, our waitress was especially attentive and welcoming.
