This was the worst vacation i have ever taken. The resort has since closed. I think that says everything.

The service was horrible. Staff is not attentive. Waitress during meals need to flagged for a drink. No pool side service. No lobby service. Pool was dirty with black dirt in tiles all around.

The entertainment group was nice apart from the GREAT shows!. The hotel is pretty nice. The food is great but the location gets hot fast with the food and outside temperature. I would Like a Soda machine so that many drinks don't lose their taste and carbonation.

Staff was excellent and extremely helpful in fulfilling our needs. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. One staff member in particular, Rosanna at the La Casta Blanca Beach Restaurant, went above and beyond to help us in anyway she could. You get what you pay for, so don't expect this to be like Punta Cana. The rooms are not contemporary but it's very clean and comfortable. If you don't like large crowds of vacationers this place is good since this resort is smaller and sits by itself. The pool is large. The food options at the buffet is not huge, but it's varied and taste very good. The beach is not as nice as Punta Cana since the sand is not white, but it's shallow and it's calm. Overall it's a nice place to relax with or without kids.
The Staff was friendly and premise was clean. Not sure if water sports are allowed, but I would recommend.

The sea and the people working there were excellent. The facility was old and my family came back from the vacation with bed bug bites. Things were stollen when on the beach. I don’t understand how Expedia sells this product to tourists when there were locals taking over from Friday to Sunday. It was impossible to use the pool or find food at the buffet during those days. This resort was terrible, the food is the same every day, in the room was the weekend was full of people, we have to make long lines for food, they closed the pool to cleaned because was too much people, the room smell humid and the towels were dirty. Only use the hotel as base for exploring the region. For the price you can't get any better. We never had lunch there occasional at dinner and sometimes breakfast and we still felt like we had our money's worth

The entire resort was excellent and beautiful. The staff was so friendly and made sure you were having a good time. The only bad thing was the check-in. We waited almost an hour on line to check in and the line barley moved.

Wife fell three times. Twice in the room. Once touring the shops that line the main street of the resort. There are just two many step-up, step-down and uneven surfaces. The room had two colonies of ants. eventually they made it to the bed where wife was bitten.

I like that it is a family resort, and my granddaughter, and 14 year old daughter had a blast. The beach was clean, and calm.
I didn't like that you had to walk after 11 to the only bar open.

The rooms were spacious and kept really clean. The mini bar was stocked everyday but the only alcohol was beer. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food in the specialty restaurants were excellent with plenty of choices. The buffet breakfast in the morning had lots of choices on offer and something for everyone. The only thing we could complain about was the lack of wifi throughout the resort where this could only be accessed from the lobby area. Otherwise an excellent resort.
