"Loved the playground area, big, open, clean, great to work and play! Top tier staff, customer service oriented combined with that bit of spice and playfulness you'd like to see at a hostel. The dorms can be improved, bed situation is comfy but, can be elevated to match their competition in the area- Overall a great stay, and will definitely be back there next year <3"

"Fine little cafe. The interior gardens with pool were very pleasant, with beautiful bird calls coming from the tree branches all through the day. The co-worker concept, and the good Internet reception, is very nice."

"A lovely quiet guesthouse just the otherside of main road from La Punta area and the beach. Just off the road for collectivos to different areas of the town and the bus station. Our room was a good size, very clean, places to put bags, a table and ensuite with toilet and shower with hot water (rare on a budget for Puerto Escondido). Our room also had a/c which was great and also rare for there. There was a lovely terrace to chill out on with a bit of a sea view. The kitchen was ok but outside,...

"Great location, comfy beds, staff makes you feel like home and it’s super close to all nearby places to eat and go out to"

"Nice pool, I cleaned it daily due to the trees overhanging drop lots of debris in it but still nice to have. AC and Wi-Fi worked well. We were asked to vacate our room (4 hours) during our stay due to fumigation happening at in the rooms. Kitchen was decent for cooking a few meals. I came to surf and probably won’t be returning to the la punta area but a nice stay for the price. There was no hot water in our shower. "

We had asked repeatedly for towels but never got them.False advertisement on the website.The bed was comfy and great view from terrace/kitchen.It's also centrally located which was a plus.So for the price wasn't bad."

"Mi experiencia en Alebrijes Surf House, fue excelente en un nivel personal y por haber tenido la oportunidad de compartir momentos muy agradables con otros viajeros así como con los dueños del Hostal quienes incluso nos brindaron una tarde en conjunto en un rincón muy especial de Puerto Escondido. Las habitaciones son sencillas y con poco mobiliario pero con una cama súper cómoda. La atención del personal, la vista a la playa así como la alberca son lo que hacen especial este hostal. "
